    Online Gameplay Speed

Has anyone noticed that the gameplay speed has been increased in the ranked games? The players' movement are more like NBA 2k11...however, the gameplay speed might be a little too fast IMHO.

I'm bumping this because it is relevant to 2k14. The speed is too fast for a 10-12 minute qrt game, Game speed should be dropped to 48 and Quickness and speed down to at least 45 each minimum. IRL nobody moves that quickly without momentum having them lose control. Quick is one thing but Usain Bolting with the ball with no consequences is no good.

I made a poll about this a day or so ago. The thread died sadly. Anyway I agree. You can't really appreciate all the subtle movements and speed controll acuracy if everything is that fast... Especially with the delay online. I feel we're loosing a lot of finesse in our movements.

Well there used to be 2 sliders. Game speed and Player speed. I'm not sure the game speed slider increases or decreases the actual movement of the player. I was under the impression that game speed either sped up the clock or slowed it down.

I agree the game plays too fast for 12 minute quarters.

I can't find a clear definition of what the game speed slider does. So if it does affect the clock it would make sense to increase that slider not lower it.

It's been like this for years, this is the arcadish style gameplay that all the kids want, and we all know 2k is very eager to please them

Yep. The game is playing absolutely terribly online right now. Unless your idea of a good time is sprinting down the court and passing it to the top of the key for a "flick three" everytime down, 2k14 online is not for you currently.
