Quarter length?

What quarter length do you choose in order to get a realistic nba experience?

I usually go for 9 minutes (I dont play the "myplayer mode" so i dont have an opionion about what is appropriate there). For me it is a good compromise, since 12 mins can get a bit (too) long for me sometimes and still realistic results.

I actually consider everything below 7 as too short to be realistic so its the lowest option you can vote for in the poll and also i didnt want it to become too many options and thus too confusing. Still if you play less minutes than that per quarter and you still feel like voting then just vote for 7 and itll count as "7 and less" or make a remark in the thread! Also if you feel like sharing your thoughts on why you choose a certain quarter length please do so!

yeah, nine for me - but not for realistic purposes. i usually like to get in a couple of games a day, sometimes even three. when you play that many, 12 min quarters are pretty long.

I always use 12 minute quarters. Anyrthing lower tha that feels to short of a game.

I play 12 minutes, and when I don't ragequit my numbers are pretty realistic. (Using custom sliders)

12mins, all-star/sim sliders = best experience for me.

Do you play multiple games in a row ?
I like to play every game in Association too but make it only one game per day (not every day). So it's fine to go over 12mins/q for me.

I hate doing short games like 8 minutes. I play every game I play abut 1 a day with 112 q's and its not long at alll

Been playing 8, but might bump it to 10. Can't imagine going more than 10.

I play 12 min Q's with custom sliders. Great fun for me. You gotta stay on top of your game.

Offline since I play a game a day I go with 12 min quarter. But one thing I would like to see is 7 min or 8 min quarters for ranked matches. I know it's wishful thinking but in 5 min quarter you can't really tell who's because guys can use there starting lineup all game and not be penalized for it. In 7 min or 8 min quarter you gotta go to bench. Add's something different to ranked matches. Even if you do use Durant a lot you be force to take him out and give rest.
