Then we head over to Miami and we know what's going on down there. They have added Battier to the mold of things down there. I just don't think they have a big man that can get the job done.
The Lakers obviously are still going to be tough. Yes they've lost Odom, but with Artest, Bynum, and Gasol, and obviously Kobe they should be just fine. If they can land CP3/Howard in the end, they would be the instant favorites.
The Knicks are right up there with Dallas IMO. I think adding Chandler and a smarter PG who is an excellent passing guard, that will be all the Knicks need to win it all. If they can manage to swoop in and get J. Crawford, they will definitely be a favorite this year.
You still have to consider Boston. They're an older team just as Dallas is, but Dallas won last year. So it says a lot that age doesn't matter. I think any time you have 3 players like Garnett, Allen, and Pierce, and a PG that falls into place as does Rondo, you have to consider Boston.
OKC! OKC! OKC! Yes the Thunder could be dangerous. They played so well when they had Jeff Green almost knocking off LA 2 years ago. This past year they were just jelling trying to fit Perkins into the system. I think that was a bit of a setback. I think now that they have had time to learn the offense with Perkins there, they also have to be considered. That was OKC's biggest question mark. Could they win without a true big. Now they have a true big and could quite possibly be the toughest team to guard with all the speed they have there.
So with that all said, who will win it all this season? And give reasons to backup your choice.
