Big Game, big results
Stanford's class nears completion
PALO ALTO, CA - Stanford hosted six official visitors for the Big Game against Cal. By the time the weekend was over, four of those six had committed, and a fifth who visited last week jumped aboard also.
The five additions:
- 4* ATH Josh Lewis, Draper (UT) Juan Diego Catholic
- 4* C Maurice Foster, San Leandro (CA)
- 3* OG Chris Moss, Los Angeles (CA) Crenshaw
- 3* OLB Jarod Harrington, Redondo Beach (CA) Mira Costa
- 3* CB Jonathan Cole, Houston (TX) Cypress Ridge
That puts the Cardinal at 15 commitments for 2013, which essentially puts a bow on the class. At the moment it appears there are only four prospects on the board, and only two of those four has an offer. The most prominent is, of course, Chandler (AZ) Hamilton nose tackle
Andrew Edwards. 4* offensive guard
Jay Ramsey from Canton (OH) McKinley holds an offer and has Stanford near the top of the list after visiting this past weekend, while 3* guard
Marcus Thompson of Carlsbad (CA) La Costa Canyon and 4* WR Kevin Phillips of Arnold (MD) Broadneck are still on the board but haven't been offered yet.
