ROAD WARRIORS:
BLAZERS LOOK FORWARD UPCOMING ROAD GAMES

Birmingham, Ala -
After a five week home stand comes the toughest part of the year for the now No. 2 ranked Blazers. A trip to both Athens, Georgia and Knoxville, Tennessee await the Blazers on a season where in their eight games they have only been on the road twice. As the season turns with the weather the Blazers know they need to bring their A-game. "No matter where you are on the road its always tough." Quarterback Adam Dyks stated earlier this week. "You have to get into a new rhythm, your not waking up in your own bed, your being heckled by fans. It definitely takes a real focus." In the two raod games the Blazers have played they definitely showed focus. In a trip to the Horseshoe in their second game they walloped Ohio State 40-14, then came right back and handled Arkansas 49-10. Both teams are currently 3-5 on the year. Defensive end Tom Cox understand the importance of focusing, well maybe not. " (Chuckling) it really doesnt matter when we're on the road as a defense because opposing fans are usually quiet when the offense is on the field, so we usually get all our plays and checks, we just cant over look these guys and play like we know how to play." You can catch the game at 6 pm eastern time on CBS.
