I'll start by saying I was at the Raw after Money In The Bank, and it sucked!!! no CM Punk, but I did mark out for Trips.

WWE Live Events
I ordered my tickets to Elimination Chamber today and it got me thinking of starting a thread for the live events that you've been to. What's was your favorite, the biggest pop, etc.

Re: WWE Live Events
I was at Over the Edge in '99 when Owen Hart fell. It was my first WWE live show. I was 12 years old at the time. It was such a weird moment. I can't really remember everything detail for detail, but I do remember being young enough to maybe not completely understand what had just happened. For all I knew, it was part of the show. I remember people in our area being completely silent and one person was crying. My Dad had a nice long talk with me about how accidents happen and why what these athletes do isn't ever fake.
As for events I'm going to, I just got my tickets in the mail for Raw Supershow here in KC on January 30th, the night after Royal Rumble. This will be the first time I have been since Over the Edge. I'm pretty excited.PSN - RedSea_RouchComment

I was also at the Raw last October 25th when Wade made Otunga lay down to give Slater/Gabrial the straps. I was sitting just off the ramp, my buddy and I were in the first pictures on the WWE.com photo gallary for that Raw. I also punched John Cena when he left high fiving the kids.
Then I was also at the Smackdown where Edge won the title when the spear was banned and Clay Matthews was the ref.
And this past summer after MITB, it was cool to see Vince, and that place popped for Trips, and I helped start the "thank you vince" chants, and after watching the Show, I noticed they edited out some CM Punk chants, damn couple second delay, we never shut up with them all night.St. Louis Cardinals | Milwaukee Bucks | Los Angeles Rams

Re: WWE Live Events
Wow front row, nice. I'm actually section 201 so one section over from the main area that I wanted.
As for the only other live event I went to was a house show in 2008. It was a great time, I was in the 3rd row behind the entrance ramp and every time they came out, we got to go right onto the railings. I wish I would've remembered more and enjoyed wrestling more back then but this is what I remember.
DX vs. Regal/someone - I touched HHH's elbowpad and there's a picture of that somewhere, and Regal has the biggest pores on his face that you've ever seen.
Mickie James was just gorgeous in person, she slapped the hands with people on the other side so I didn't get to but it was still nice to see her. I believe she was against Beth Phoenix but I don't remember.
The main event was Orton vs. Jericho in a street fight and Orton is just HUGE in person, I could not believe how muscular he is.Follow me for live wrestling tweets @molarmiteComment

Re: WWE Live Events
Went to a house show here in Lubbock a couple weeks after Brock and Big Show collapsed the ring. Then met Lesnar after at a restaurant. Dude is huge. The show was kinda boring, but it was expected. Random match between Sean O'Haire and Bill DeMott, random 6-man tag with Taker, Lesnar, and Angle vs somebody else. A few years later, I want to say April or May of 2008, went to a live Raw. It was awesome.
EDIT: Wow, the Raw that I went to was on May 15, 2006. Holy crap time flies. Anyways, the big match was a Texas Tornado match, in which John Cena and Rob Van Dan, the WWE and Intercontinental Champions respectively, faced Triple H, Shelton Benjamin, and Chris Masters. If one of the champs lost, that champ lost his title. Triple H Pedigree'd both Cena and RVD, but right before he covered Cena, Shelton Benjamin covered RVD, which ended the match and saw Shelty leave as IC champion.
Needless to say, I don't remember any of this unfortunately. I had to look up a recap :/Last edited by TripleCrown9; 12-20-2011, 11:32 AM.Boston Red Sox

Re: WWE Live Events
I've been to I'd say about 6 Raws and Smackdowns and went to St. Valentine's Day Massacre in Memphis, usually get suite tickets through family sources so no signs in my way! Will be in attendance on 1/2/12 for whoever is returning.Comment

Re: WWE Live Events
Haven't gone to anything since Nitro in August 99. I've been to that, one WCW Saturday Night (which I believe was split into 2 different shows), 2 wwe house shows and 2 WCW house shows. These were all between 97 and 99, as I just got back into wrestling this summer.Comment

I wish I was old enough to remember when I went. Been to a Raw and a SmackDown before when I was in like third grade. It was a blast, I just have no memory of any of the matches. I wore my Taker shirt and prayed that since I did he'd spare me.
Ministry Taker scared me as a child. It was awesome.

Re: WWE Live Events
Wrestlemania 17 was by far the biggest show I've ever been to. My first show was at the Capital center in Landover, MD. Saw Hulk vs the Bossman and Warrior vs Honky Tonk in a cage. Also saw Hogan vs Flair a couple years later, as well as one of the Great American Bash shows back in 89.
I got to be an usher at a wcw thunder show in 99 as well. The show was nothing special but I did get to go back stage and Macho man said "Heyyyyyyy" to me. Very cool.Comment

Re: WWE Live Events
I hear you. I was a huge Taker fan. Then he started the Ministry and scared the crap out of me too, but I still liked it. I still remember the shock I felt when he had Stephanie on his symbol, and later himself on it.I wish I was old enough to remember when I went. Also, didn't mention it in my previous post, as it's also not WWE, but I'm met most of the WCW rosters back in 97 and 98 as they were on their way out to Sturgis for Road Wild. Talked to and got autographs from almost every wrestler the had at the time, plus Jay Leno and Dennis Rodman lol.Comment

Re: WWE Live Events
I've been to a lot, but the first ones I remember are seeing the Radicalz debut on Smackdown (and not knowing who they were because I never watched WCW).
And... Survivor Series 1999, LMAO.
So I'm a HUGE Rock mark and my little cousin loves Austin. So he's probably like 9 years old. All geared up to see Austin... and he's hit by a car. LOL. I was loving it. We'd go back and forth about Austin vs. Rock... and the Big Show ended up winning the belt. Ha.Comment
