i wish that the NHL Dev Team would actually care about gameplay this year. polish up what you already have in all areas of the game. on the ice, off the ice, etc.

stop adding bs and make what you already have better, so it actually replicates an NHL game.. or close to it!!

my wishlist for NHL 13? well how about NHL developers not only to "actually care" but to listen to some disappointed customers. i know that this is about EASHL. but if this is the only thing they will update and not fully address all the offline ISSUES, i will save my $60+ next year.

A major source of frustration has been the online ranking system for teams. Combine that with an extremely poor if not non existent matchup system. There would be far more teams playing consistently if ones newly created, all rookie level team did not get matched up 1 out of 3 times against a veteran Elite team with all legend cards. Give us an option maybe to wait until a matchup is available or play any team available. I would wait 5 extra minutes to get a good matchup rather than slam my head against a wall for 30 mins while skaters dance around me like figure skaters, vaccum suck every puck up, and have an 80% shooting percentage with 11 goals.

EASHL is a great experience when teams are even and a good game is had by all.

my wish list for NHL 13 is maybe some new announcers that don't sound so recorded, if you listen to NBA 2K12 commentators they sound real, and how about team builder like NCAA 12 all features where you can create your own arena and locker rooms, and some diffrent fighting knockouts im tired of the turtle and just the fall over make it more intense, and on "be a pro" they should have request a trade and and have your own celebration set. i feel like if they did this it would be a contestant for game of the year

My wish list is that in EASHL they would stop showing stats before the games because too many people backout before the game starts because the other team's players have too much points per game. It can take 20 minutes and more to find a club that is willing to play a good club. Clubs that backout before game starts should lose points. This problem is really annoying and fustrating. They also need to improve the server because of all the disc and EA signing out people.

I used to play EASHL a lot with my team, especially in the early stages of NHL 12. Now it's mostly cheesing, especially glove side by the dots. Automatic goal every time.

When NHL 13 comes out, sure as **** my EASHL team will be playing, but we've pretty much stopped in NHL 12.

Here's what I would love to see addressed:

1. Teammate AI: The AI for defensemen especially is garbage. They don't poke check unless its a diving poke check on a breakaway which (95%) of the time results in a penalty shot. Teammate AI also doesn't turn when needed, especially on defense. It's not hard to wait by your opponents blue line and then beat the defense because they didn't turn at the right time to defend. It's always late.

The same goes with the goalies. Remove the desperation save online. It rarely works and it allows for easy goals. There is no reason to go into desperation when a player passes the puck from the boards to the opposing dot. None what-so-ever.

2. Reporting System: This is sorely needed. SORELY. NEEDED. I feel that if the community is able to police one another than this implementation would make the games a lot more respectable. Here's how I would vision it:

You play a game against a team that cheeses their butts off. Whether it's the red line glitch, shooting floating wristers, etc. Win or lose, there's a report button and you can report the team to EA. EA would look over the game and then warn/ban the team from EASHL play based on the shots/goals that they saw.

If the company deemed is cheese then they can handle it. It gives the community the ability to make the company aware and gives the company final say so the feature wouldn't be abused.

3. Remove the Boosts: This will never happen because it probably makes EA a lot of money, but remove the +1, +3, +5 boosts. Someone shouldn't be rewarded because mommy or daddy gave them 1600 XBL points and they blow it on +5 boosts. That last sentence may have been a little pretentious, but you get my point. At least them strictly unlockable in-game, which would give things like Be A GM and BAP more life than it has.

Now, from the article posted:

1. The faceoff loop is awful. The other day my team jumped into EASHL for the first time in about a month. We scored the opening goal and about 5 minutes later in game time, the faceoff loop happened and we lost the goal. It's disheartening.

2. Meh, if you've been playing this game a lot, you should know them. My issue with the attributes is it seems some of them don't mean anything. Speed always comes to mind, as it seems acceleration is more important. Unless something was changed in NHL 12.

3. Love the C/A idea. Make the captain the obvious one, whoever jumps into their position first much like it does now. Make the two alternates the next two or the first two people to ready up who isn't a captain. This is sorely needed. It's the little things that would boost this mode and that's one of them.

4. I'm going to break this up into two different things: Jersey and Custom Logo.

A. Jerseys: Give us more options for a jersey. Give us multiple jerseys (alternates, etc) and more styles. In a perfect world, we'd have NHL Teambuilder for EASHL but there's a 100% chance that will never happen. Instead, give us the option of an alternate jersey (or 2, or 3) and more styles. There's no real good reason why we have the same style of jersey on two different (Reebok Edge cut and pre-Edge cut) jerseys.

B. Custom Logos: Tons of games do this. Black Ops is the first that comes to mind because you can make so many different logos with just shapes. Much like the report feature I talked about earlier, one of the options can also be "Team Logo". Again, EA looks at the team logo and doles out the correct punishment. Shouldn't be to hard in theory.

5. I would love GameFace in all of the EA games.

6 and 7 I don't particularly care about.

8. Celebrations. YES YES YES YES YES

9 and 10 are what they are.

• Better match making!!!!
• Line changes (just have 4 versions of each human player, one on each line).
• Let us keep a full team of the same CPU guys and have them earning attribute points. Then you could even having trading in the EASHL.
• Private Leagues.

As far as the nuts and bolts of the game go, as other have said an attribute make over.. enough useless attributes or ones that seem broken... no more "99" ratings and "classes" like playmaker/center that affect the performance of your player. Make there be pros/cons to every build instead of one stat you pump up so you never lose the puck or get checked. Also as others have said.. no more tuners unless there is a blatant gltich (which must usually be fixed with a patch anyways), I'm tired of them nerfing attributes and aspects of the game because a few whiners aren't getting 3 goals a game.

Also either make it easier to get the top legend card or just allow you to buy it. What adult with a life has time to play 350 games and win 100+ of them?
