The next NHL 12 patch arrives in January. Read the details below.

Art

• Fixes for Winnipeg Jets and *. John’s Jerseys
• Added helmet numbers to front of helmet for all NHL teams

Gameplay

• Exploit where a user is able to skate wide and use vision control to take a slap shot and score while the goalie is out of position
• Exploit where when the goalie is covering the puck, a diving player could sometimes knock the puck loose
• Situation where the game would sometimes, but very rarely crash during instant replay
• Situation where a stick check would sometimes crash the game

Hockey Ultimate Team

• Hockey Ultimate Team fix where a user is able to exceed the trade pile’s 30 card limit by adding cards from the Edit Lineup screen. Fixing this key issue, fixes multiple other issues within HUT that were triggered by this.

Game Modes

• Fixed an issue with Game Modes tuner set files not loading correctly.

Doesn't look like it's going to address some of the custom music issues and general framerate issues/lockups. Makes me a sad panda, but at this point, I'll take what I can get. Still not buying NHL 13 after this year's issues though.

It says nothing about fixing the penalty issue either.....something that soooo many of us have been griping about.

It's quite apparent that ea sports does not review this website at all, its a shame they could help themselves much more like Sony did with their baseball game.

Here is a list of issues/additions that will be addressed in the January patch -

Gee, thanks EA. There is nothing on this list that helps out the hardcore community, at all...Hopefully, this isn't all of it, but knowing EA it will be. What a slap in the face.

Customer: "Yeah, I think penalties need fixing, there just aren't all that many, which really kills the realism and immersion of your product."

EA Devs: "Ok, we'll put numbers on the front of the helmet! How's that sound to ya?"

Customer: *face palm*

EA Devs: "No? Ok, we'll put that in AND we'll fix it so you can download tuners again even though we don't really do those that much. Now, how does THAT sound to ya?"

Customer: "Just ... just forget it!" *sigh*

It says nothing about fixing the penalty issue either.....something that soooo many of us have been griping about.

I`m hoping that maybe penalties and pass reception ease tweaks will be in here somehow.

It looks like pretty slim fixin`s.....I thought a little more would have been in it.

So numbers on the front of helmets makes its way into a patch? This seems odd as it would seem to be a major change to the presentation design and programming for a lot of in game situations. The reason I say it's odd is so many times they've said they cannot change things like this. So basically it's all been BS the whole time.

This makes the other jersey, color, number issues inexcuseble. Not to mention they still can't update the goalie pads properly after months.

I'm not a Florida Panther fan but I'd be straight up pissed that there is no mention of fixing the number size issue on the new uniforms. But hey at least a little number on top of the helmet will be there!

EA should play some MLB11 the show and look at the details and how they respond to the consumers, get some REAL hockey people in there helpin out.
