Even pre-patch, penalties would disappear from time to time. Maybe this tuner mode thingy is the culprit. Maybe someone can get a response from a dev? Maybe there's still hope.

I haven't played this game properly in about six weeks but I still come in here every day hoping to hear Ea will fix the penalties issue most of us are experiencing.
Surely EA can't not be aware there is an issue with penalty calls? Which makes me think it could be a tuner issue, but then if that was the case would they not have fixed it by now. Call me confused!Comment

Re: Next NHL 12 Patch Arrives in January, Details Included
I love the hypocrisy on this site sometimes. They add numbers on front of the helmets and people mock them. Then I go to another thread and see over 50 posts about how the shade of yellow on the Nashville jersey is wrong, as well as the colors of the Jets jerseys. Yet you don't think numbers on the front of the helmets may have as many people complaining somewhere else??
Hahahaha!!!
I am having a blast with this game and if this patch makes it more stable then I will be happy. Yea, I would like more penalties, but I enjoy the game for what it is.......a break from the every day monotony of life.Comment

That's it???? Really??? No penalty increase???? Very disappointed in this year's title!!! First time I have ever said that, first time for everything I guess, but as a consumer, I may put my money where my mouth is and stop buying... This company has taken 10 steps backwards from where they were at with the NHL series just 2 years ago...Last edited by gsize19; 12-23-2011, 12:17 PM.If you keep bowing down and praising the developers, (NHL series) nothing they give us the consumer will ever be a "finished" product. Take a stand, it is your money!!!.Comment

Did anyone else read the list of things they're fixing and never knew that those things needed fixing.
Don't get why they can't fix the penalties stuff or even the game freezing!
I'm for sure not gonna get NHL13 on release day. Might even just wait for the price to drop to get it because it sure sounds like EA doesn't care anymore.Comment

Well, this is nice:
Exploit where when the goalie is covering the puck, a diving player could sometimes knock the puck looseComment

Ea is full of idiots, honestly they need to go out of business. But now that 2k is likely done making hockey games there's no competition, it's madden all over againComment

Re: Next NHL 12 Patch Arrives in January, Details Included
BUT
After reading the thread and finding out they have no plans to fix the penalties but would rather fix numbers on ****ing helmets i am sorry but i dont have one ounce of regret for trading this game in. EA are so out of touch with what really matters to its hardcore fanbase its unreal.
Personally things like the jersey's being wrong is something i could have lived wih until next year, the same can be said for the numbers on the helmets but to completely ignore the fact that a vast majority of players are reporting a major issue with penalties is inexcusable.
NHL 12 was my final straw, for years i said i wouldn't buy the next years installment but i always caved, Not anymore. People can try stick up for EA all they want, the evidence is stacked to the fact they either dont listen to us or they just dont give a flying **** what we want.
Sorry EA i wont be getting taken for a ride anymore. 13 will be the first EA hockey game i have ever missed.Comment
