EA Sports Grand Slam Tennis 2 Preview

Discover news about Xbox and reviews on the latest and greatest Xbox titles, courtesy of the Gamesradar+ team.

Grand Slam Tennis 2’s most obvious upgrade is its graphics; photo-realistic environments, mo-capped animations, and stunning HD details put it on par with the publisher’s other sports titles. Of course, it probably doesn’t hurt that it shares an art director with the Fight Night franchise. That’s not all the two titles have in common, though, as GST2’s Total Racket Control system is based off the renowned boxing series’ Total Punch Control mechanics.

It's a great game. I use the face buttons . The players move better when you know how to play. It is like tennis in which bad players look bad playing the game.

I have played 20 games and the game is pretty satisfying to me. The atmosphere is awesome..sometimes the crowd will get quiet and during your serve yell "go rafa". It is by far a better tennis crowd than topspin. The computer is too good at net or maybe I am missing something. That is something the has to be tweaked.

Serving an ace down the t feels fantastic as well.
