    Now your going to into "What if" scenarios the bottom line is no one has broken it until now. Brees in '09 wasn't two bad games away nor on pace to break the record- he was one pass away and made the decision that winning a game (we lost) was more important than the record.

    With a full off season and plenty of tape to watch, defenses will adapt and it will be a while before we see this kind of season from not one but multiple QB's.

      Last season for the 1st time 2 QBs threw for over 4700 yards. People said there wouldnt be multiple QBs to do that again for a while and here we are 1 year later. Depending on how Brees does in the last game I dont think we will see multiple QBs on pace to break his record, but i would expect to see multiple QBs mid season to be on pace for about 5000 yards next season.
