So I wanted to start a new thread to let everyone know that I have uploaded a new roster to 2K Share under my Gamertag: Sniper8412 File Name: Accurate 2

Player Position Edits to accurately represent real NBA lineups.


If anyone could help HEX Edit Team Accessory colors (Headbands,Socks,) I would greatly appreciate it.

This roster is name glitch free and does not freeze during association mode and of course does not have the black arm glitch.

Check it out today and please let me know if you can help Hex Edit and also what you think of the roster....

So if I change their shoes or anything I won't see black arms and how bout Markieff Morris/ norris cole slightly darker than 2k arms but look horrible i hope their not in there and I ask because this is all I'm seeing lately in people's rosters who claim to have all rookies and free agents but come with hidden super black Arms and rookies with noticeable skin texture problems also are all jerseys unlocked ?

I just downloaded it and I have to say this roster is by far my favorite on 2k share,Minus a couple of caps I wasn't feelin (that Sean Williams is good) and klay Thompson and mychel thompson being identical twins is minor to the work u put into this,I give your roster an A so far I'm just hoping I don't see a glitch or even worse the hidden super black arm.

Thanks for the positive feedback. I will post a off-line link later this afternoon for non-live users.

The roster is free of Black Arms and Does not have a skin tone glitch that I have seen.

Really hoping someone can help hex edit both the Sock and Headband colors for me if they have the time.

If anyone wants to help me hex edit this roster.. please let me know....

Okay Guys,

I noticed a few changes I need to make after finally having time to go back through:

Larry Hughes - Orlando - Change to PG/SG

Chris Johnson - Portland - Adjust height to 6'11

Sean Williams - Dallas - Change hair to Short Twists

I'll continue to go through and adjust others if I need to. Also going to adjust jersey #'s.

I will have a new file to upload later today. I will post here when it is ready to download on 2Kshare and I will also provide a link for download for Non-Live Users.

Still need someone to help with the Headband and Sock color changes....

I don't know if the black arms issue is totally roster related.

It's somehow tied to the online data file, but I can't figure out how.

I've noticed sometimes, my 'link' will drop and I'll get the black arms and white (blank) shoes. What I mean is that, I can be doing things (other than playing) - downloading rosters, browsing the loaded rosters, etc. And all of a sudden. I'll notice that I've got white shoes and black arms again.

If you have this, it could be something with 2k12's online services or something. Sorry to be vague, but I think some people are incorrectly blaming roster makers for the 'black arms'. I'm talking OIL black - like his whole arm looks like 'sleeve' material.

Maybe it has to do with a roster edit, and then the online file needs to synchronize or something after every change, idk. If it can't then you get 'blank' shoes and arms for some. just a guess.

The reason I say this is everytime it's happened to me, I've noticed that my '2k logo guy' (not my player), has become 'blank' white. If this happens, the only way to restore that I've found is to go to the dashboard, and load the game again. This is the player face found in the lower left hand corner of the Home screen (All-Star 3 or whatever your ranking is).

Once I'm logged back in, and my 2k guy has a full picture, I can load the exact same roster I had before (the exact same roster where I saw black arms and white 'blank' shoes), and they will now be correct. This same issue can also cause the game to hardlock if you try to edit a player's shoes, and he has an 'unlocked' pair (ie: Kobe with Kobe vii systems). Nike Id and something else tries to load at the same time and it will crash.

I just can't figure out what causes the 'link' to drop. Nor how to restore it. I can still get to the online lobby (but I get an error message about corrupted settings). It still lets me through though. I'm able to go to 2k share, and operate NBA today, so it's not like my network is down. All of my unlocked nikes will still show also...but there's still just something missing.

I just wanted people to know that if you get 'black' (blank) arms or 'white' (blank) shoes, it likely isn't the roster makers fault. It's the online data file.

PS: These are general statements. I haven't downloaded your rosters, but I will later on. I just didn't want ppl flaming about 'black' arms again. the issue is on their end, not the roster, in many cases.

Yeah that was totally my fault. I originally used the 12/25 and had everyone on it, but when I decided to use the 12/23 roster as a base, I rushed and forgot the players listed above.

Thanks for the offer, but I am almost complete with some editing and later this evening (10pm or so) I am going to upload with completely correct rosters and jersey #'s.

I would love your help on the Hex editing. I am not much help on where to guide you other than this thread.

Great roster set, the only thing I noticed besides a couple missing players was that Eddie House was still on the Miami heat and Jerome Jordan of the knicks jersey number should be 44 not 53. Just thought id shoot you an fyi, other than that every thing else looks pretty solid.

are you connected to xbox live? Do you have the kobe vii's in Footlocker?

You may want to save the roster, go to dashboard, login again to game, go to nba today to synch up online, then load your desired roster.

If your 'nba2k12 guy' doesn't have a picture, something happened to your online data, and you'll have to re-synch. I'm Not sure of any other way than logging out to dashboard, or going to nba today, then reloading.
