How to get Jeff Green, and others back into NBA 2K12

I been seeing threads about Jeff Green no longer in the game, well guess what... I have a solution. I am surprised no one knew about this, I did this last year to keep Allen Iverson, Steph Marbury, etc in NBA 2K11 through all the updates.

Here are the steps to get Jeff Green, Sasha Vujacic, J.R. Smith whoever else is not in the game, back in the game with the current UPDATED ROSTERS for Associations (Mods please sticky this)

Steps
Reset Rosters to Default, put all the players who are NOT in the newest roster onto a team, any team. Players like Jeff Green, Sasha Vujacic, Ilgaugus, Wilson Chandler, J.R. Smith...

Go to SAVE in Association, EXPORT TEAM. Save the EXPORT file.

Go back to the rosters, load the most current up to date rosters and load the EXPORT TEAM file. Cycle through the rosters and you will see your exported team from Association with Jeff Green, etc.

Assign Jeff Green to the Boston Celtics, Sasha to Free Agency, Wilson Chandler Free Agency, etc etc etc

Enjoy your Association

P.S. This is also a workaround for making the players who are injured playabale.

Will all of their previous season stats erased like the workaround to get the legends in the game?

Previous season stats are erased, but it is better than having no Jeff Green in the game at all...

How do you default your roster ?

It says you may not assign or trade players from a created team.

Same thing for me i DL someone roster with them in it but they eff up everyone else roster with horrible ratings and etc. so i tried to do his steps with that but nothing. It is not allowing me

I tried all the steps but it would not allow me to assign, release to FA or trade a created team player. Any additional thoughts? I just want to get Jeff Green in the game.

Has anyone else noticed that it changes where there from, before J.R. was added back in. I did this and it said "From Spain" you know when you click the R3 (Analog Stick)

Stuff like that will happen if you don't do it all at once. It's absolutely imperative that you know who all you want to import, and do it all at one time. If you were to, say, import 3 players then later decide that you want to import a few more, your roster would (typically) become corrupted after the second import. Things will happen like players' last names changing (the first time I did it I was treated to a league with Sherron Bayless, Jason Bayless, and Jarron Bayless), the players' college/country getting out of whack (did you know that Antawn Jamison played at Niagara), and a lot of the in-game stats updates and stuff will become wonky.
