NFC Wild Card Weekend: Atlanta Falcons @ New York Giants

Giants getting hot, Falcons not too shabby. Should be entertaining.

Falcons have a lot of weapons in the passing game and a tough runner in Turner. Fortunately, Matt Ryan is a statue and if our pass rush hits home, we'll be OK. Giants win!

good luck beating the no huddle offense. As long as we can keep from having stupid penalties and get to the Qb we will be fine... Falcons win!!!

I do worry about Victor Cruz... Brent Grimes can cover any of your receivers, but he cant cover Cruz and Nicks at the same time... We must get pressure on Eli or this could be bad.

Giants have to re-learn how to stop the run. We havent played a team that can actually run the ball and sticks to it like the Falcons in a while. And we need to get to Ryan when he passes. If not, we need to pray that Eli lights up their secondary.

I'm hoping for Giants win but I think the Falcons win 37-17.

Still haven't been sold on the Falcons.

Giants already won one playoff game this year, I think they have the momentum and will beat ATL at home.

This could be a shootout unless it's windy.

The Giants have a better front four and a dome team may have more problems dealing with the elements.

I think Giants are likely to give GB a better game at Lambeau than the Falcons though.

I know I'm a Giants fan but I honestly think if they beat Atlanta, which I really feel good about, you can make reservations for Indy.

I don't care who it is they play after they beat Atlanta...San Fran, New Orleans, or Green Bay, I think the Giants get through because they lost to all 3 teams in the regular season and will pull off a '07 run in which they beat Dallas, Green Bay, and New England, all of who they lost too in the reg. season.

If they play Baltimore in the Super Bowl, they win to avenge the 2000 game and if they play New England, the Pats will get the win.

I have the Giants as the "surprise" team to make a run to the Super Bowl out of the NFC, but one game at a time, dude.

It all depends on if they play like the Falcons of last season or the Falcons of this season. Yesterday against Tampa they showed the 13-3 team of last season. Against the Saints two weeks ago....not so much. Giants are good but are shaky at times and Eli makes mistakes when pressured.

Like a poster stated above, Brent Grimes can easily shut down any receiver. He single handedly shut down megatron earlier this season...dunta on the other hand gives up huge plays and both Cruz and Nicks are huge threats. If they can pressure Eli, not turn over the ball, stay healthy, and keep the penalties to a minimum Falcons have a very strong chance. The second half is what will decide this game though.

Green Bay swept through the wild card to get to the superbowl. Falcons still have a chance but it's gonna be tough and it all starts in NY. I'm putting it on Matt Ryan winning his first playoff game with the help of Roddy White, Julio Jones, Tony Gonzalez, and Michael Turner playing at their highest levels.

                    Final Score:
                    Falcons - 48
                    Giants - 35
Falcons break away in the 4th quarter bringing the game just out of reach of the Giants.

It's all going to be down to the Giants pass rush.

                        Falcons will handle the Giants.

                        Falcons - 31
                        Giants - 17

Giants are a hot team right now.

They have Manning, Cruz and Bradshaw on offense. And that front four is solid, now.

                          Giants 24
                          Falcons- 17

You know when an Eagles fan calls your team a fraud it must be true. They are very experienced in the subject.
