Give me the 49ers. They can play defense against anyone's offense and can play in a shootout game against one of the best offenses in the NFL and still win.

I'll say -3 from the regular season.

24-17 49ers.

Giants were missing some people on d the first time and Frank Gore went out early with an injury.

Only thing that's beat the 49ers this season was their own coach and the refs. Giants apparently never get calls so I guess there's not much to worry about.
Unless Harbaugh tries what they just did with the Saints again.

Of course this will be the week all the experts finally pick the 49ers and jinx them.

Aside from the fact I really want the Super Browl to go down, I just like what the 49ers are doing in a year where it seemed like teams were essentially playing touch football.

I also like seeing a team like them with so much history "rise from the ashes" so to speak, so I guess you could say I'm slightly on the wagon. Which also means they'll probably lose now.
