Tennessee has gained a commitment from high three-star athlete Davante Bourque (Crowley, La.), according to multiple sources. Bourque originally committed to Texas A&M in May, switched to LSU in June, and then decommitted from the Bayou Bengals earlier this month.
Arkansas, Arizona, Arizona State, Nebraska, Pittsburgh, Vanderbilt, Houston, Miami-FL and Southern Miss also extended scholarship offers to the 6-foot-2, 205-pound senior.
He exploded onto the recruiting scene after rushing for 2,326 yards and 40 touchdowns as a junior.
Bourque's pledge brings Tennessee's class back up to 20 verbals. The Volunteers have lost some recruits this winter.
