    TRUEGAMER'S 0 SLIDER THEORY

I tested these for months and these work very well it brings out the players real rating in a game. If your playing a number 1 ranked defensive team you will tell the difference from playing a 30th rank defensive team, if your facing a superstar you will be able to tell if he is a top notch player. Every players theres a rating if you go to edit player, those attributes will show more then ever playing with these sliders. I know people like to make edits but im convinced these slider left on my thread you will have the most realistic game feel.

PLAY ON PRO AND PRO ONLY FOR FAIR GAME. REST OF THE LEVELS CHEAT YOU. I SIMULATED ALL NIGHT AND THE GAMES JUST WERENT FAIR, ITS A REASON WHY THEIR HARDER THATS BECAUSE THEY CHEAT. 12TH MAN EVEN BECOME SUPERSTARS WITH OTHER LEVELS, PRO IS FOR HUMAN BEINGS. THESE GAMES WILL BE COMPETITIVE ON PRO WITH THESE SLIDERS.

    PRO
PLAY ON PRO GAMES ARE VERY COMPETITIVE. ANYTHING HIGHER TO ME IS DAMAGING TO CONFIDENCE. THE REST OF THE LEVELS GIVE CPU ADVANTAGE OVER YOU.THESE WILL STILLL BE CHALLENGING ON PRO.

GO TO COACH SETTINGS SET OFFENSIVE AND DEFENSIVE PLAYCALLING TO AUTO, WHATS THE NEED OF A COACH ON YOUR TEAM IF YOU DONT USE HIM. ALSO THE TEAMS WILL CALL PLAYS FOR THE SUPERSTARS, SECOND, AND THIRD OPTIONS INSTEAD OF YOU TRYING TO CREATE FOR YOURSELF NOW. RUN THE PLAYS IT BRINGS ANOTHER FEEL AND EXCITMENT TO THE GAME.

    SAME FOR PLAYER AND USER.
    DEFENSE
Dcsf-10/ Reduces some bumping. Stops morphing. OPTION 88 FOR PEOPLE WHO LIKE BUMPING.
iccf-100/Brings back that nba live feel when you drive.
hds-100/Players in the nba who dont play good help defense usally end up on the bench.
ss-25/This is for steals since its on zero, steals could be on 100 but if this slider is on zero you will get no steals try it for yourself.

    ATTRIBUTES
quickness-0/Brings out players TRUE speed, no more Derek Fisher hanging with Monta Ellis.

vertical-0/Just like speed let them play by thier rating seperates good jumpers from great.

strength-100/Player with strongest strength rating will win in the post. If they are not strong enough the player will fadeaway, sometimes they willl even fall if a weaker player in strength attempts to post up someone powerful. More charges will be called in a game with it at 100 this slider can be set anywhere between 0- 100 but 100 will get the most realistic charges.

    stamina- 50

durablilty-0/More injuries will occur. (Do not raise must keep on 0.) If you noticed alot of players dont get injuries in nba 2k12, this is why.

hustle-0/Brings out real hustle, lazy players who dont run the floor will be exposed.

ball handling-0/No more dribbling with centers.Good ball handlers will still be able to dribble. If a player with low ball handling skills and low ball security attempts to dribble the ball he still can but it wont be anything in the class of Allen Iverson.

hands-0/Players who aren't used to getting the ball in the post will have problems catching it. The player with the most dominant hands off thier player rating will usally win the tip wars for the rebound. Its a myth to me that it effects deflecting passes, I truly believe deflecting passes goes goes under steal success, but the 2k definition states it will help with steals.

    dunking ability-35

on ball defense-70/Nba 2k producer told me so.

    stealing-100

blocking-100/Put this on 100, with vertical on 0 it will balance out.

offensive awarness-100-Offensive players skills will shine you will also see more signature shots from the superstars. Also players like Ricky Rubio and Chris Paul actaully do more fancy passes with this on 100. Players bring thier A game.

defensive awarness-100-This has to be on 100, they wont contest shots with it on 0 the defensive players will just let players go right by them.

    offensive rebounding-100/This will balance out.

    defensive rebounding-0/This will balance out.

clutch factor-0/Let them play by their rating.

consistency-0/Let them play by thier rating.

    Fatigue rate-70

    injury severity-50

FOULS-In almost every nba game you see a player pout or take a long look at the ref, why because refs are whistle happy. Refs make bad calls all the time and even go as far as to let superstars get away with certain things. With these settings a game has a option of going good or bad, but it is fair. I know some people love to reach for a steal but be honest when in the nba have you seen a player reach as much in a game like there possesed. Sorry people who love to reach you can maybe get away with it once but if you get reach-a-nitis and hit the player the whistle will be callled.

BEFORE YOU SAY THESE FOULS ARE SET TO HIGH I HAVE PUT A LINK BELOW TO SHOW YOU THE AVERAGE FREE THROWS A GAME PER TEAM IN THE NBA. WHEN YOU SEE THESE ATTEMPTS PER GAME YOU MIGHT SAY MY SLIDERS ARE STILL TO LOW, BUT WITH THESE SETTINGS A GAME COULD GO EITHER WAY. STAT WISE SIMILUTING GAMES THESE ARE THE CORRECT SETTINGS FOR FREE THROWS. AND WHAT I NOTICED AGGRESSIVE ATTACK THE BASKET TEAMS LIKE THE NUGGETS GET MORE FOULS. FINNESSE SHOOTING TEAMS LIKE DALLAS DONT IN THAT MAKES ALOT OF SENSE.

IF YOUR USING MY ROSTERS THESE ADJUSTMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE FOR COACHING PROFILES. SINCE XBOX AND THE PC SO ME SO MUCH LOVE I'M GOING TO GIVE YOU A GUIDE TO REALISTIC PLAYBOOKS. THE PLAYBOOKS ARE MORE IMPORTANT COME TO FIND OUT THEN THE TENDENCIES. WHATEVER THAT PROFILE TELLS YOUR PLAYERS TO DO THEY WILL DO IT. THERE LIKE ANOTHER SET OF SLIDERS REALLY. SINCE I FIGURED THIS OUT HERE IS A GUIDE FOR REALISTIC PLAYBOOKS. I WAS ON THE VERGE OF FIGURING THIS OUT BUT TOMBA BEAT ME TO THE PUNCH IF I WOULD STARTED DIGGING DEEP IN THIS PROBALLY WOULD OF TOOK TWO MORE WEEKS LOL GIVE TOMBA SOME CREDIT FOR THESE ALSO HE IS A GENIUS .HE HAS THE REAL PERCENTAGES OF SHOTS PLAYERS TAKE FROM INSIDE, CLOSE, AND MID RANGE ALSO ALLEY-OP AND 3PT TAKEN. THESE PLAYBOOKS ARE AS REAL AS ITS GOING TO GET.

    OFFENSIVE TEMPO-100
I would advise anybody playing 2k to put there offensive tempo on 100. This will stop players from holding on to the ball, They will make better passes now. That is the reason players hold on to the ball. It will not make your team fast they will just make better passes and you wont have to worry about them holding on to the ball again. I know you see offensive tempo and think there going to be fast, to make a team faster you would have to raise fast break, all the tempo is doing is making players pass realistic. Here is a link with good ball movement you could not accomplish unless it was raised at this level.

    DEFENSIVE PRESSURE-100
This is a must. This is the reason there are no charges called defense is to loose. Thats why also you only saw charges with the Heat and Bulls because there's was defensive pressure was high. This balnces out the playing field and people who think they are good at 2k unless you put this at 100 you have been cheating yourself. If a player is bas defensively dont worry he will still be but now he will at least try. Link below on how defense is played in real life.

    ZONE USAGE 55
Tomba figure this out credit goes to him. When you inbound the ball now just like in real life sometimes they will be playing a zone.

Jackson and the Los Angeles Lakers with his triangle. Everybody else does now including the Lakers put at 100 CPU takes better shots.

    BENCH DEPTH 0
Dont you hate when your playing in the 4th quarter in for some reason the cpu subs out your best player? This will stop that.

    ATTACK THE BASKET 100
They wont hesitate to drive if they see a lane open now.

    LOOK FOR POST PLAYERS 100
Now if somebody makes a backdoor cut they will pass it to them.

FOR SIZE SPEED- This is how this works the lower it is the Centers and Power Fowards get the ball. The higher shooting guards and small fowards get the shots. No teams really need to be changed but a handful.

BULLS-60-More shots for Rose and Hamilton.

CELTICS-50. This is a real team fair balance.

GRIZZLIES-30-This is Zach Randolph's team. If your using a roster with him hurt put it on 50.

HEAT-70/Lebron and D-Wade will take more shots now

    JAZZ-25-Milsap and Jefferson will eat.

MAGIC-25/ 2K messed up with this one big time Dwight sets his team up for 3's because teams have to double him. When they do he passes it for a 3 to a teamate. That's why the whole starting team other then him can shoot a 3.

SUNS-35/Gorat is the number one scoring option.

Timberwolves-25/This is Kevin Love's team now.

NOTHING ELSE NEEDS TO BE TOUCHED OTHER THEN THE PERCENTAGE OF SHOTS AND SHOTS TAKEN BY A TEAM. YOU EVER PLAY WITH THE MAGIC AND WONDER WHY DWIGHT IS SHOOTING THE BALL OTHER THEN USING HIS POST HOOK TOMBA'S PERCENTAGES AND SHOTS TAKEN WILL FIX THIS FOR EACH TEAM.

Right now I have three threads i apoligize for that I kept spelling the title wrong and I have a bad habit of being a perfectionist but these are the sliders feedback is welcome I apoligize for those other two threads.

I've played a few games with these using bedwardsroy19 rosters. Plays very nicely had to adjust fouls for my own type of gameplay but I like the outcomes so far. I'll post feedback once I get a chance to play a few more games.

      Thanks

Aren't these the same as the Final version? I turned down reach in fouls. Playing Classic Knicks vs Shaq's Magic was down by 20 in the third pulled back to losing 102-95. Had several lead changes in the first half. Orlando milked clock first half and suddenly started running fast breaks 3rd quarter and not picking up tempo. They slowed it down once I got close. FG 48% CPU, 43% me. Fatigue rate 65% which I like made both teams use the bench.

I find a good challenging slider set to be when I lose by 7-10 pts, figuring that to be my margin of error. I clicked up my inside shot success by 7 clicks in the second half because I was down. Shaq (CPU) very dominant inside paint and Oakley had two blocks on him. CPU made 3s when I sagged off and double teamed AI knew to throw ball up to the key. Not saying Zero sliders is better than other sliders it was just a different type of game flow. I anticipated sloppy, choppy play but not the case.

Thanks guys ima make one more tweak ima lower take inside shots amere shot a jump hook from the 3point line that has to be adjusted and ima also change free throws to real player i fouled shaq in he hit both of the free throws in the 4 qaurter in crunch time. Also lowering the sliders to 0 doesnt mean sloppy gameplay it means the players true rating will show actaully leaving it a default 50 gives other players that are not superstars a advantage over top players but thanxx for the feedback worked hard on these.

Look at a nba game you will always see players contesting shots either to block it or to mess up there vision if they dont then will be benched look at every jump shot on youtube it might be late but they are always a hand in there face in someway i left mid range on 50 because of that. Dont cheat yourself with stamina either every player has a stamnia if there old they old dont help out lol.

I don't know exactly how the stamina works but I wasn't going much with kobe and he was tired at the end of the first . His stamina rating is the highest on the lakers I believe. Also on the contest shots I see a lot of guys contesting with rating at zero .

There is a contest shot rating for each player , maybe at zero it uses their rating with no boost . Man I dont know , I wasn't saying what you have is wrong . I was just saying the adjustments I made to your original really work for me

These sliders look kind of interesting. I have always like the thought of having sliders at zero will bring out "true" ratings. I'm going to plug these in, test them out, and post my stats and reaction.

No you do what ever works for you i was just stating a point maybe I wrote it wrong sorry. but when players get tired that are valuable you call that timeout let them get that gatorade and then they be back right i did that to make it more realistic they might not seem tired while watching games but they are feeling it. But do whatever works for you.

Played a few games. Love the stats I'm getting and the gameplay is great except for dunks. Just played the clippers and Jordan and Griffin did not have one single dunk all game. I was playing strong deffense but Jordan had a wide open lane a few times and he performed a layup. So I'm going to tweak the dunk sliders a bit please let me know what you suggest. But overall these are great sliders very realistic gameplay with bedwardsroy19 rosters.

Good job man! The game was a blast...

I got in foul trouble early with Butler. I need to learn how to play better D lol

I was the Clippers. Probably shot too many 3's but the Celtics were shooting a lot so I think I tried to keep up with them lol.

I was 11-11 on FT's and then within the last 1:00 of the 4th Blake and Deandre went 0-4...

Mr. Big Shot missed an open 3 at the buzzer that would have tied it. Stats look great. Ill be using these sometime again I'm sure.

                              Great job!
