It's difficult to run the ball when there's a CPU blitzer on one side of the formation and a human defender watching the other side.

Only foil to 1-man blitz that I've seen is the QB Post play, but that play seems to work against every defense in the game. I don't remember it being this cheap in the other Blitz games. Only way to stop it that I know of is to have a second human defender on your team to cover the double WR fades.

I didn't say scramble, I said do run plays. I mean this game has Turmoil, Split Backs, Criss-Cross and you can even flea-flicker with Sub Zero that will get people confused. There may be a defense for every offense, but it's not the same one every time, that I can guarantee you.

And then, of course, you can scramble if you'd like. I'll run away from the blitzer and approach the line of scrimmage. If you stay away from me, I'll go up field; if you pursue me, I will pass it off to the receiver(s) you left open, even those which you might have already knocked down earlier in the play (as they are the most forgotten receivers).

Yikes, I hope I don't pick this habit up of cheesing with this play or something. Vice versa for those that I play against.

Just made it to the Hall of Fame again, ranked #37 on PS3. I gotta start doing Blitz Teams with my friend soon, so I can start unlocking some players and doing things.

You can do 1 vs. 1 using the Elite League or Blitz Battles.

Cool feature I noticed today:

If you're up big in the second half against the home team, their fans leave and the stadium empties out.

was playing a lot of co-op, my one bud and i on national elite board i do believe..

i finally got to the hall of fame in 1 v 1, retired my team, started over so to speak as well..

this game is just a bunch of fun.. awesome to see all the different styles and how guys like to play.

i do wish, tournament mode worked online LOL. in terms of cheats and teams. i hate playing those stupid clown teams and what not.

Are you sure tourney mode doesn't work online? I haven't tried it out myself, but it seems like it should work.

It definitely gives the offense an advantage using the fantasy character skins, because the defense can't see which receivers are where.

If I retire my team what does that do? Do I lose my Leaderboard stats or just my win loss? I don't want to do it if I lose ranking on the leaderboard

You go into the hall of fame and you get put back at the bottom of the leaderboards.

It's like prestiging in Call of Duty.

Your win/loss record is still kept.

In case what wEEman said didn't make sense, you still maintain your leaderboard status. You just get to work your way up again to get into the Head-to-Head Hall of Fame again if you'd like (similar to prestiging in COD, as he said).

I just downloaded NFL Blitz (for the PS3) and for some reason mine seem to freeze up at the beginning. Any idea's on how I can get this game to work?

yeah, we have tried it, the code dont work online. it says "unavailable"..
