    Blzer's All-Star Sliders & Settings (MLB 11)

    Just a couple of preliminaries:

    - I don't use the power swing.
    - I use the left stick to aim my hitting.
    - I only do influential swinging (very rarely at that) for situational hitting.

That's really all I can think of from that standpoint. So, as per request... here we go:

Hopefully those who want to try and mimic it can use these shots as a base.

These sliders are always subject to change. As always, feedback is appreciated! On another note, if you guys enjoy the sliders enough, don't be a stranger... feel free to give this thread a rating of your choice if you'd like. If it's for a good cause (even if negative), I'm ready for the consequences. Thanks all for doing what you do!

These are very close to what I've been using, Blzer. Good job, although I don't know how you use hit with Timing being at zero.

The only other difference is that I left Contact at default for myself and the CPU, but lowered the Power slider -1, as I was seeing too many HR's for my liking.

I really like that camera angle for hitting. That's edited from the catcher cam, huh? Any specfics in terms of getting my setup like that. Probably the best bet would be to just have the pic up on my CPU while I'm editing the camera in the game.

The timing is just something that grew on me. It helped me focus on the kind of pitch a bit more, which is both for better and worse obviously. When I hammer a change up, I feel like I've earned sitting on that pitch. I think that's where I have a bit of a difference in contact and power when playing, with the timing at where it is.

I'll have to check out your sliders as well. I've basically had these since May, I've just never posted them because I thought I was so late in the game for doing so. I just got a few requests to actually put them up is all.

That's really the best advice that I can give you. I can give you some other tidbits, such as I actually am a bit zoomed out, and some panning is involved (not just rotating). I gave you the shots both in the camera editor and in-game so you can see what's supposed to line up where.

I played an absolutely ridiculous game with these last night. One thing off the bat that I didnt like was not being able to see what my pitches do as well as not being able to see how fast each pitch is. I generally have these settings on.

I do like the catch region indicator off!

I used SEA vs OAK @ OAK, Beavan vs. Parker. Beavan went 7 and struck out five while allowing 3. Parker was dominant and let up his first hit to Trayvon Robinson in the top half of the third, a double off the base of the wall. I allowed a three run, two out bomb to Suzuki in the seventh which ended the night for Beavan.

The amazing thing is that I went 3-4 with Robinson, missing the cycle by a homer. I also went 2-3 with a BB with Carp.

My batting camera is similar to yours but not exact. Also based off the catcher cam, because that cam has a better depth of field.

The Show could benefit from... wait for it.... a camera vault!

What was the final score of your game, by the way?

Have you played a little bit more with these since this last report?
