I'd like to see your Jurickson Profar, Trevor Bauer, Wil Myers and Bryce Harper if you dont mind. Considering you are using a base that I spent countless hours on. Also do you have correct repertoires and accurate motions and stances?

Yeah, check them out. Motions and stances are subjective, and the ones I have are pretty good. I appreciate all the work everyone did (including me) on Knights rosters. Gave me a great base. I have rerated everyone and am pretty happy with it. Numbers reflect 2011 season, and it has a few tweaks also. The minor leaguers were rated on the same scale, but toned down depending on the level they are in so they would not be on equal footing with the big boys. Anymore questions or comments just ask.

As far as each pitchers arsenal, yes I do. I used fangraphs (mainly to set velocity numbers), the Baseball Handbook and Baseball Prospectus also assisted me in getting the arsenals for the pitchers. Everything is edited. Players have gear edits also. Also have MLB extra innings so I would watch games of pitchers I was unsure about.

It is important to remember that these are for the 2011 season only.

I have Darvish, Iwakuma, and Aoki. All the moves are updated to this very minute. The lineups aren't all set, but your guess is as good as mine on those since rosters aren't even set yet.

I truly believe these are the best rosters out there. Literally thousands of edits and its based on one of Knights rosters.

Please take a look at it and download them. If you do post in here and let me know what you think. I'm constantly tweaking them so its very possible something is inaccurate. I want to see what other people think of my rosters, because I think they are very good.

How do you come up with your ratings?

I noticed what seem to me as generic plate disciplines, vision, and clutch. I also noticed noticeably low base running attributes for most prospects.

I pretty much have come up with my own formulas that generally rate prospects rather high on the OVR, but that being said they generally get a large OVR boost due to having plus to plus-plus tools. My set also includes realistic sim results from said attributes.

I also go off of the theorem that 0-25 does absolutely nothing to sway ratings. That is why you will never see any of my edits with less than 25 in any category unless its a tested method like discipline, clutch and vision.

I am going to sim a season using your set and take a look at the final numbers.

                  Re: Finally Uploaded My Roster

I have a base roster set from SCEA that I use to make my comparisons off of. I went through MLB rosters of all teams and this is what I found to justify my 0-25 means nothing theory.

                  AL Power 25/25
                  BAL
                  Tatum

                  Cervelli
                  CHW
                  Lillibridge 25/30
                  Pierre 27/25
                  Vizquel 30/25
                  CLE
                  Marson 30/25
                  Crowe 31/25
                  DET
                  Avila 57/28 what a joke
                  KC

                  Tolbert 25/30
                  Casilla 33/25
                  ANA
                  Wood 52/29 another joke
                  Wilson 25/32
                  Willits
                  OAK
                  Sweeney 35/25
                  SEA
                  Carp 25/25 JOKE!!!!

                  Blanco
                  Borbon 36/25

                  * I have also taken the liberty to include some notable attributes outlined above. Notice that most of these players are not power hitters, but also notice that some AVERAGE power guys made this stock list.

                  And now for a sim!

I don't know much about the 0-25 theory, but from what I have tested, I have pretty good results with my rosters. As far as the prospects go, some were edited down so the cpu would not bring them up...this was for the 2011 season, and I did not want players like Profar making appearances on the MLB roster.

For some prospects I graded more on tools, with the 2011 season in mind. For example, Bryce Harper. If I went by his numbers that he actually put up this year he would be rated significantly lower than he currently is in my roster. With the roster I have he will make the MLB roster for Washington in 2012, or be very close. Thats more of what I was going for. In order to do that some ratings were lowered a little more so they would not make the roster. I have notes of what was lowered on some players. Once again this was done so they would not appear on MLB Rosters too early. Baserunning was one of the ratings I lowered the most in doing this.

Also, for clutch and base running I could not really find any formulas that worked that well. For speed I used the Speed score given on the baseball cube website, and lowered it if I didn't feel this was accurate, which was the case for some older players.

If anyone knows of anyway to edit the clutch and base running ratings please let me know. I have yet to find a formula that works.

My definition of a formula that works is one I can use to rate everybody on. Its just for the 2011 season so I have no problem giving someone a 99 in a category if it fits, as I am not comparing them to the all time greats. The minor leaguers then get a deduction based on the level they are. For example is a guy was in AAA he would not get lowered as much as a guy in A ball.

I have an excel sheet with the ratings on it. Its currently a work in progress though, and when I get 2012 I will import them so I can play right away while Knights roster gets done. IT IS NOT COMPLETE AND WOULD NOT MAKE SENSE TO EVERYONE SO DO NOT ASK ME TO EMAIL IT PLEASE.

Any tips or suggestions are welcome. I love discussing player ratings with knowledgeable people.

Please leave me feedback. I want to learn how to make better rosters.

The base rosters in this game and the updates that come with it are amongst the worst in any sports video game franchise. Madden and NBA2k always have better out of the box and updated rosters than the Show. Comparing them to those would be a waste of your time in my opinion.

KSig, I looked over Profar again. I must have overlooked him completely. Ratings were way off. I'm going with this:

                          Class A

                          R Contact: 59

                          *Denotes no clue..just guessing.

                          Sorry for overlooking him.
