    NBA 2k11 (PAL) rosters by Kamilos1983 and saharor1 (24.01.2012)

    Clipboard01.jpg
    Hey everyone

I bought NBA 2k12 so I will not update my rosters for 2k11 anymore.

From today I'm working with saharor1 on our rosters. So we will update everything in this new thread.

It will be only one link to our rosters. It's a compilation of our latest rosters. We will try to update them after something happen (trade, signing etc.).
One big request for everyone who download our rosters. Please write something about it. What we need to change what is good. That thread is for you remember this.

From 30.01.2012 in file with rosters are also my settings and sliders. I decided to add them because I think it will be helpfull for everyone who download our roster.
Very important. That sliders are for PRO difficulty if you think the game is to easy change shooting abilities (inside, close, medium, 3pt) for CPU +2. Also if you think scores are to high change the game duration. I also recomend to set player speed before match from 50 to 45.

If anyone notice that we need to change something in sliders give me a post in this thread.

Link to latest roster, setting and sliders:
MediaFire is a simple to use free service that lets you put all your photos, documents, music, and video in a single place so you can access them anywhere and share them everywhere.

I agree with Sahar only your own work will help you. We spent a hundrad of hours to make perfect rosters. On making change to the ratings I spent 60+h to make them. I still have 2 k10 in my collection but it can be hardcore work to make accurate rosters. If you want some details or help from Sahar or me just leave a post right here.

Maybe i misunderstood cause i have read something about some editors with those you can edit rosters from your PC(they said to be able to open .sfo and .pfd)files and then use them on ps3.Maybe they are only for Xbox?

For the game part,i have made all trades and releases for 2011-12 season but the only thing i dont have is the rookies. So i think you mean that i must edit them through the game itself.

I know about possibilities to create players with pc on xbox and pc I never heared about ps3. But I think it's only available in 2k12. You should create them by yourself it's not a big job but it takes some time. If you want some help just give me info on this page.

Hey Kamilos, why do we have to change the rookie's stats after the season ends? And also, do we need to make those changes after each season ends or just after the first season? Thanks

Everyone should read that post if you using our rosters
                  Part 1 ratings
Tha changes are very important because when you stop edit the new rookies it will be a big pain in the a.... for you. Basic for my rosters is to make real shooting for players and if you leave the rookies with their basic you will have some problems. For 2k if someone are good shooter the give him good rating from all distance (one exception is 3pt they have good values) and iy makes game unrealistic Kobe can shot 80% from medium because the gave him 90 from medium. In our reality he shot 46% from medium distance so in my roster all players should get real (or close to reality) stats. For rookies the way of thinking for 2k was the same. They can give a player Inside Shot 70 what the hell... Someone plays in NBA and can't shot from the rim??? Even I when I was playing basketball I was shooting 99% from the rim (of course when there was no defense).
                  Part 2 tendencies
Other aspect for me is shooting tendency. In the game when I started to change shooting it was a big LOL for me. That was the first time when I start to thinking on good ratings. Carmelo had 99 shooting tendancy ????? I saw some games of NY and other players also makes some points during the game I know this is pointless for everyone who used own plays but it's great for everyone who's using auto playcall (I also have auto playcall for ofense). And remember one thin CPU also have auto playcall so it makes game more realistic. I was frustrated when I was playing with CPU and when the have Carmelo or other player who have 80+ for shot tend. All plays was for this player and if you add old ratings player like Carmelo, Kobe etc. they were a killer for everyone. I change this and the game is more realistic.
Part 3 defense is the key
Defense is the key I know everyone can say that thing. But if almost all players have 90+ from inside defense in this rosters is most important thing. When you leave someone without defense it will be not good for you... When you leave someone at rim without defense it will probably kill your team.
                  Part 4 fastbreaks
In this rosters you can see also changes in fastbreakes. All players run for fastbreakes no one stay and wait for oponents to set their defense (only exception are slower players). So fastbreaks are important part of the game.
                  Part 5 resume
So to answer for question Yes the changes will keep the game correct even after new players come to your game. It's always your decision but remember one thing if you leave number 1 rookie with 80+ overall without change to his ratings he will be the best player in the game even better then LeBron. He will have for example 89 sh. tendancy so in his team almost every ball will be set for him and after my change he will have 69 so he will be a part of his team no their only player The same with medium if you leave player with basic rating for example if some of good rookies will have 80 from medium and 55 medium tendency.... This kind of players will be deadly for everyone.
I think I explained the details but if someone have some question just leave them here.
One more thing it was only my sugestion to change rookies you can leave them with basic stats but it will riun your game. Remember my game is my game, your game is your game

I also recomend ESPN NBA web site for photos, you can change everything in apparance of players thanks to that page. Also you can use hoopdata and basketball reference to get detailed stats for players to make accurate ratings for everyone.
                          This is my recomendation:
                          - accurate roosters, numbers, height, weight etc. (nba.com)
                          - salaries (hoopshype)
                          - accesories (photos from ESPN)
                          - trades, signings (all pages)
                          - ratings (basketball reference, hoopdata)
                          - faces (Sahar will tell you but a lot of pages have photos maybe ESPN)
                          - a lot of free time (I don't know )

First off congrats on the roster updates. All the moves/contracts are very well done and you deserve kudos for taking the time to do them so accurately....

I have quoted a couple of things above as there is 1 plus with them and 1 not so good.
                            First the good...
Fastbreaks are handled very well now, you have really managed to create space on the court and when you do get an opportunity for a fastbreak it is not killed by the cpu ai suddenly getting 4 men back at hyperspeed and breaking it up but the lanes open up and with smart play you can get some odd man rushes up the court...so again....
Now something i have noticed since you have changed the ratings.
Firstly the cpu seems to be shooting an extraordinary amount of 3's now and what is worse is they are taking them from 2 and 3 feet behind the 3pt line. They are also shooting when i have them pretty much locked down with good D instead of passing out to someone else who is better positioned to make a shot.
You have mentioned Carmelo above and his tendency and while i have seen some issues with players who have a 99 shot tendency whatever you have done has truely messed him up. I played against the Knicks and instead of seeing more players take shots and share the load what i saw was Melo basically just catch and shoot seemingly on near every possesion.
In a 6min qtr game he shot 17fg's and 9 3pters while the next highest shot total by a player was 6? What was worse was like i described above he was 2 and 3ft behind the line from 3pt range and was just jacking it up even if i had him covered well or not. Even though you have not changed his drive tendency he refused to drive towards the basket and just settled for long range/3pt shots time and time again. I can only assume that by lowering mid range ratings this has had an adverse effect on the game.

I then plugged in your previous rosters where you did not change the ratings i believe and played the same matchup. Completely different game the shots were spread out between the whole team with Melo shooting 9fg's and 3 3pters and the rest of the team shooting between 3 and 6fgs each...strange huh...?

Anyway i thought i would just give you some feedback on what i was seeing.

Thanks for the feedback. I forget to tell one thing. Elknavo create formulas for sim game but for people who play game he said one thing they can change some things with sliders. And if someone see that something is wrong change the sliders if CPU shots a lot from 3pt change 3pt sliders tendencie. Sliders for people who play the game are most important. I don't have this kind of problems and I don't know what to say... I'm using mkmarsh old sliders for pro difficulty with my changes after creating this rosters. Also when I'm play matches CPU always looks for free players maybe it's sliders. I hope so... It's difficult when I play and everything is good for me and someone play and it's no good. I hope it's the sliders settings are main differences.
