Re: "Dragon Breath" A UAB Dynasty (NCAA12)

DARK HORSES:
GEORGIA TECH AND ILLINOIS QUIETLY MAKING A CASE:
--
(RUNNING BACKS: #22 KEVIN WILLIAMS (GT), #28 RJ ROBINSON (ILL)
- Well not exactly quiet after last week's thrilling 49-46 win over Michigan State. But Illinois, who was perhaps just a win away from a national championship appearance a few years ago is back in the spot light sitting a 7th in the BCS. With RJ Robinson handling the carries tied for third in rushing touchdowns Illinois seems balanced on offense, they'll get their chnce to state their case later this season against Wisconsin. Georgia Tech seems to run out the gate with 6 and 7-0 starts before the nations gets a hold of their option attack, but this year they have more than one legitimate back they have three that includes quarterback James Riley. With only Georgia as a key opponent left Georgia Tech may win the ACC for back to back years and have a possible NC opportunity.

Heisman Highlight's back this season. The next few weeks we'll document Heisman candidates and give an insight at their season. The first candidate is Michigan's sensational running back Quinton Washington who at the moment looks to be the clear cut favorite. His Michigan Wolverines are 6-1. A 232 yard 3 touchdown performance against Purdue last week powered Michigan over ranked Boilermaker's but his 278 yard 4 touchdown performance on national television against Notre Dame is what put him on the map.
- 1,023 yards (1st Big Ten, 5th NCAA)
- 18 Touchdowns (1st NCAA)
- 8.4 ypc (1st NCAA)
- 8 20+ yard runs (1st NCAA)
TOP GAMES FOR WEEK 10
#17 Navy (9-0) at Notre Dame (6-3)
Air Force (5-2) at Boise State (6-2)
#14 LSU (5-2) at #16 Auburn (5-3)
#7 Georgia (6-1) at #15 Florida (5-2)
Oregon State (5-1) at #25 Washington (6-3)
Stanford (6-2) at #20 USC (5-2)
#2 Wisconsin (7-0) at Ohio State (5-2)
#6 Illinois (7-0) at #24 Purdue (5-2)
GAME OF THE WEEK:
#19 Penn State (6-1, 4-0) at #11 Michigan (6-1, 2-1)
Penn State starts what some experts call a murderous stretch when they face the Wolverines on the road this weekend, followed by #6 Illinois, #2 Wisconsin and #24 Purdue. If the Nittany Lions can come out alive, this could very well be a preview of the Big Ten Championship. For Michigan, who are currently chasing the #10 Hawkeys's have a tough stretch themselves, with Iowa on the horizon. A win this weekend will most certain give them a control your own destiny opportunity.
Penn State will focus on stopping the conference top tailback Q. Washington he is a break away king and has a nose for the end zone. Michigan will unleash the dogs at back up Don Martin who is playing for injured quarterback Kevin Austin, If tailback Brian Tyler can get going this should be quite the contest.
