My Player scoring is too low.

Am i the only one that realizes this in allstar/default my team got 22 points exactly in the first 3 quarters. Thats too low. On simulation in the second quarter with 10 minutes left the score was 12 to 26. Those are first quarter numbers. Im finding my player way too easy all the way up to superstar the cpu will not score. Whats wrong?

I play 12 minute quarters i swear. It doesn't feel right the scores it's like i got a bad version of the patch. It seems nobody else has this problem.

Ok last game i played 70 to 80 was the score and i won i am on the Magic.
Here is the stats :
Bobcats Magic:
Total score=70 Total score=80
30/70 29/73
42% 39%
1/7 3pts 14% 4/15 26% (I made two 3s)

I agree, scoring is entirely too low in MP. A lot of it has to do with how long the players take to run plays. All the pushing and shoving kinda slows the game down a bit.

I have two MP's, one is a PG for PHX, the other is a Center for the Bulls.

With the Center, my team only scores about 85-90ppg. And Derrick Rose only scores about 18-20ppg with less than 4 asst per game since i've been on the team. Before I got there, he was averaging 37ppg and 6asst.

My PG on the other hand plays for PHX. We have had games where we put up over 122pts. Mainly because I push the tempo and call the plays on my own. Plus we have a lot of quick hitting plays for RIP Hamilton and Ariza coming off screens. We also tend to give up a lot of ppg.

Scoring is fine in my player mode.Increase the quarter length.I play 8min qtr and the score is in the 90+.I play on pro also.

You said with 10min left in the 2nd qtr the score was 12 to 26 thats sounds about right.

I have the same problem I've played 20 games and the score has gone above 80 twice.

I have never been into MyPlayer until a few days ago. I made a center and I want to build him into the likes of Dwight Howard. I have one problem though. How do know what play is being ran and how to run it? I dont see any play call message or any play art

This is definitely an issue for me. I play on Pro, sim settings, 12 min qtrs. Games I play out are typically 75-70 type scores. The problem is pretty obvious to me....there are tons of possessions where no shot is taken until the shot clock is at 1. Sometimes the AI just stands there and won't initiate the play. There's always something in these games that is glaringly wrong. First time with MP and really enjoying it until I found this issue. Wonder if it has anything to do with the roster set I'm using. It is a 2K roster from quite a while ago (whatever 2K roster was current right after latest patch). Maybe I should start over and see what happens.

You need to play with custom rosters, or at the very least custom playbooks. MyPlayer using default rosters is honestly a waste of time.

im playing it with a default roster and its fine. Both teams score average 95-100 pts a game on pro and 45%-50% fg. on 12 min quarters

There's honestly nothing "fine" about this game, in any mode, using default rosters. Everything may seem fine because you haven't experienced the game in any other way, but the game is highly flawed using 2K's rosters. In MyPlayer, you're exposed to 9 CPU controlled players on the court and that's when the rosters and playbooks are exposed to the fullest.

If you think watching PG's stand around with the ball for 10 seconds and fail to make post entry passes 50% of the time is fine, then to each his own.
