The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.
The site might feel a little slow while work continues. Engineers are staying on it through the night to get things moving faster again. Thanks for your patience.
Wow! Between the new Marlins park, the coliseum, and The Trop I don't know whats worse. This is seriously a horrific looking stadium. Yes its an upgrade from Sun Life or whatever they call it these days, but that's bad. Maybe it will look better in real life, rather than observing it in a video game. The HR thing is atrocious though. It looks like something straight out of an amusement park or the zoo.

Yea, the 3 worst stadiums in MLB were the A's, Marlins, and Rays..after the Marlins finally got a new stadium, looks like the worst stadiums are still the same
The HR celebration display is.... just can't get the right word actually. Something like "Designed by Timothy Leary"
Honestly i had an open mind when i heard about that homerun thing but now seeing it, im really hoping the digital version lost a lot in translation from what its gonna look like in real life. It really reminds me of the scene in semi pro where they are all dancing dressed up like sea horses and what not.
I gotta go through my old stuff and see if I can find my scrapbook of "future stadium drawings" I used to do. I did one both for the Marlins and the Mets before they actually got new stadiums. I'm not super proud of my Mets one, but the Marlins one I made was both baseball and football suitable, and a retractable roof (also with a huge glass panel). I wish I still remember what it looked like, but I can't recall it being as drab as the new one.
I must admit, I don't really think I like this new stadium. Some new stadiums really don't stand out to me either (Nationals Park for instance), but there isn't really anything bad about it either. I just look at this one, and I see "wasted opportunity" written all over it. It's unfortunate.
However, at the same time, I'm also glad the Mets went with a new stadium design compared to what they proposed in the early 2000s, which would have been just as poor as this new Marlins park IMO.
By the way, nothing will ever be worse than the Trop.

Haha. That's a good selling point for me- nothing wrong with Timothy Leary. I think that thing is bats--t crazy, I kind of like it.
I could be wrong, but what may be missing from the stadium is the numerous advertisements plastered all over stadiums (in real life and video games). Maybe we've been programmed to see so many ads, and their absense in this video gives it that "lifeless" look.
