Help with updating rosters on PS2
Hey guys, first off Merry Christmas to everyone!
Okay so I finally found a friend willing to part with their 2k5, so I'm finally getting to start playing the holy grail of fb again. I started playing fb games after I got 2k5, and not one has ever matched up to it.
My problem is, I'm a football fanatic, so I cannot stand playing with my Bears, and having no Forte, Cutler, Hester etc. Not to mention Grossman has higher OVR than both Drew Breese and Ben Roethlisburger..I'm dying for an update.
Honestly, I know I needed the AR thingy, but is there another method of doing it? I own the original fat ps2. Would a simple usb flash drive achieve the same affect? Is there something i could burn onto a blank cd to transfer the rosters to my Memory Card? Basically the only reason I don't want to order an AR is because it will take time to ship lol. I wanna be able to enter my man cave over winter break and play 2k12. Maybe theres some device I could buy at either Best Buy, Radioshack, or Gamestop?
Thanks for the help in advance, and please don't be upset if theres another topic on this. I looked and didn't see anything in particular. Plus anxiousness of being able to play this game again is getting the best of me lol
