I only play vs CPU, but I noticed the potency of multiple deep routes right away. The DBs just can handle them. When I play, I don't even let myself run more than two deep routes on a play unless it's the final play of the game and I'm trailing.

So yeah, I would say he is taking advantage of deficiencies in AI, AKA cheesing.
