I'm a check it probably after the 24 at Daytona. He was another great driver taken too soon.

It's one of the best sports documentaries I've ever seen, although its portrayal of Alain Prost as a soulless technician in contrast to Senna's brilliance is probably a little unfair. The shenanigans that F1 pulled to try to keep Prost on top are maddening, though.

        I highly recommend it.

Wow....what a great Doc. Thanks for the recommendation, because if it wasn't for that, I wouldn't have even known about this. Sadly, this was before I really even paid attention to F1, but still a very, very good Doc.

Alain Prost WAS a soulless technician in the cockpit. That is what earned him the monicker "The Professor". He did exactly what he needed to do to get enough points to win the title. The engineers say "Alain, we need a 3rd place to win the title". Alain raced hard until he got himself into third place and sat on it. Once Prost got in the car, the man disappeared and he became part of the car.

I've been a Formula One fan since the mid 80's and was blessed enough to spend some time in the Canadian GP paddock in the 90's while working for a Toyota Atlantic team. This documentary is an amazing piece of film. In my opinion, it exemplifies everything that is wrong with F1 today. Today's F1 lacks characters like Senna and Prost.....those guys were rock stars.

The movie really is incredible. The in-car footage of Senna racing is unbelievable, especially this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NeFqs...eature=related

I watched this Sunday night, and I must say that it is one of the top documentaries that I've seen. Of course Senna's rise happened the year I was born so I never saw any of this before, but I've followed F1 off and on since 2005 and have known stories about what happened at San Marino. The thing is, the movie makes you root for Senna (and it should since it is about him), but when you hit Imola, the whole thing just hits a depression and stays there.

Overall, great movie and a must watch for anybody who loves racing in general.

Happy to find it available on the 360. It is a good career biography about Senna but doesn't stray too far outside the car so be wary of watching with a date unless they enjoy 'sports movies'.

It does a good job of retelling his rise in F1 and uses the Prost rivalry to build drama. I know the footage is probably very limited but would liked more into his personal life / family or more about his close F1 relationships, like the team owner he left.

Tip: Don't pay to rent the HD version. It is almost exclusively old footage so anything beyond SD is a waste of money.

My GF really enjoyed it and she doesn't like racing at all. I got her into Soccer, Hockey, Basketball & Boxing but for some reason she has zero interest in racing.

Yeah the ending is desperately awful but the movie taught me so much about F1 that I didn't know, and I've watched every race since 1996.

Watched the Australian GP early this morning, and didn't realize Ayrton's nephew, Bruno Senna, now drives in F1. Same team to, I think.

Have yet to see the documentary. Sounds like a good one!
