OMG, I think this franchise has officially jumped the shark. This is what they spent a good chunk of their time and resources on this year? I was willing to overlook a redesigned swing which looks like the same swing as last year just in different clothing and and not putting back the true aim swing from TW11 but to waste time on this crap instead of giving a much needed overhaul to the boring career mode. What a waste.. They need to knock my socks off with the career mode improvements but somehow I don't think that's gonna happen.

Geez, how long do we have to wait for a half decent PGA simulation instead of this Mickey Mouse crap EA keeps churning out every year?

Whew... this one's a real head-scratcher!? I honestly see nothing appealing in this, but I'm not everybody. If there's a market for this sort of thing out there and it helps sell more games, so be it. I just hope that the time and resources required to include it doesn't compromise other facets of the core game that needed improvement.

I'd rather have seen them give this sort of attention to the Career/Season mode, to see if they can get me to play that part of the game again. I play about 90% Live Tournaments, 8% Multiplayer Online, and 2% career mode now. My career mode play comes when my internet connection is down, XBox Live is down, or the EA Servers aren't available.

Of course the EA board has everybody treating this Legacy crap as the best thing since sliced bread and then after getting bored with it after 2 days, they'll be the first ones to say what a waste of a feature.

This is exactly like the last Fight Night game. They ignore career mode and use the same template that they always used and wasted all thier time on that goofy story mode that everyone hated and sales tanked. Hopefully the same happens here where sales tank so it gets the dev's heads out of thier asses and they start making an immersive career mode which every sports gamer wants.

Tiger as a kid in that video looks like he's possessed and overall pretty creepy. It will feel like you're playing as Chucky.

If I was to purchase this game this mode wont/wouldnt get any play time from me. I am playing this game so that I can have a career and try to set some milestones. I could care less about Tiger's Legacy.

Is there going to be any info released on the Career mode?? Are there any improvments?

Like someone mentioned the only way I'm playing this juvenile Legacy mode is if they include really juvenile things like dodging Elin's 9 iron swings or some sex mini games with trashy waitresses and porn stars a la Leisure Suit Larry. But then again I doubt I'll be buying this to begin with. Another wasted year.

If EA ups the sim factor with the new Total Shot Control stuff without adding something to appease the kiddies, the only people who'd buy the game would be the couple dozen old farts who frequent this forum.

I would love to here who they talk to about these stupid story modes. All of them are the same with different costumes. What are the demographics and do they really tell you they want this crap. The only reason since 2002 ive ever done the story modes was because it was the quickest way to get attributes. I hated every minute of them. TW12 was nice because I could avoid story modes and play the career for attributes.

Simple waste of time and effort....
