Official NBA 2k12 Association Supplemental Thread: Tradable Players

Alright guys, with the Trade Deadline little more than a month away, we will see a lot more of those trades by OS users. I want to make a collaborative list of players that are most realistically likely to be traded and can be traded. Then we can work out likely trade scenarios. I'll update the first page as we go and have a general consensus

1. Michael Beasley - has probably been the 2nd most talked about in trades.
2. Dwight Howard - Duh
3. Gerald Wallace - Won't be in Portland next year, Blazers have to pay Batum, still a good player and is a expiring contract.
4. Steven Jackson - still a great scorer and valuable player, just isn't in Bucks future.
5. Monta Ellis - has been in the trade rumor or years, great player but can't co-exist with Steph Curry.

Don't know what your criteria is, but a few other guys that have been talked about are Steve Nash, Deron Williams (unless Dwight goes to the Nets), and one of the Lakers two big men (Gasol/Bynum).

I'd add OJ Mayo to the list, since the Grizz probably aren't going to resign him. I can't think of any more right now but if I do I'll post them.

chris kaman has been mentioned and he could go 50/50 expiring contract may want to keep in NO unless someone offers some value in return or picks

Look at the Rockets Roster, and you can more or less just pick a name. Almost all of them can be used in some combination to make a decent trade for a better piece/different pieces.

Doesn't Gerald Wallace have a player option meaning its up to him whether he stays or goes

That's just at the end of his contract. What you're thinking of is a "No Trade Clause" which he does not have.

No my point was the opening post said Wallace is an expiring & won't be in Portland next year, when he most likely will, due to his, iirc, 10mil player option.
