Your aim for Madden 13
My aim is to not throw as many Interceptions but I know that is impossible with this Madden Dev Team. Also I hope to play abit for realistically like stop going for it on 4th down when there is no need to.

Re: Your aim for Madden 13
Your funny, it actually sucks ( I cant believe im saying this) for me to want a madden 13 after the great season my team has had in a decade. I have been playing with the 9ers since Tecmo Bowl and even before when it was just the city and colors with no team name to them really. Now I can see it like every other top team giving my team a bad ONLINE REP!
It was fun seeing how it was only a handful of loyal dedicated 9er fans playing and winning with them online. Now its gonna be an onslaught and a lot of ducking!
I just hope I can get some games in next year with them! -
Re: Your aim for Madden 13
To improve my winning % by at least 5 points... I've turned a corner and improved my winning percentages by more points each year starting with Madden '04 (.247) til now (.598). I credit better clock management and sticking to the run when it's stopped early.
Next year I hope to improve my attention to detail so it takes me less plays to pick up on tendencies and my flexibility by adding more plays to my repertoire.

Re: Your aim for Madden 13
It's the exact same aim I have for Madden every year since the exclusive NFL license. Try to enjoy the game for an entire year until the next one comes out.
So far I am 0-7.

Re: Your aim for Madden 13
My aim this year will be to start playing online sooner. Madden 12 is the first year where I didn't care if my opponent was using a non-common strategy. I felt for being new to the ranked online world I held my own and adjusted real well. I played 48 ranked games for the past edition and will go for 96 for Madden 13.Comment

Re: Your aim for Madden 13
Didn't think of this earlier... But blaming the devs because you're throwing INTs is the surest way to keep throwing them.
In order to decrease your INTs, you must accept full responsibility for throwing them without reservation - even when it really is something the devs overlooked.
It's hard, I know, but it's the only way to improve. No one ever gets better by pointing at others.

Re: Your aim for Madden 13
TNT is right. If you want to get better at MADDEN, you can't point fingers. You have to take responsibility and adjust. Madden isn't a very good NFL simulation but it can bee a fun football game. Take the time to learn what works and what doesn't work. Do yourself a favor and practice with different teams and players. Sometimes something doesn't work because your players aren't good enough. Sometimes it's because you aren't good enough yet. Sometimes it's because it just doesn't work right in Madden.Didn't think of this earlier... Learn you playbook. I mean REALLY learn it. There are a lot of plays in each playbook that work with each other. Learn which play action passes are tied to which runs. When the other guy thinks you are about to run the same run again, but you hit them with the play action, it makes a world of difference.
If you really want to get better, find a playbook with formations and plays you really enjoy and learn the whole thing. Take your time. Learn one formation by heart each week, or what ever pace works for you. Learn the ins and outs of every play and how they are related to each other when they are.
Learning your playbook, on both sides of the ball, along with your favorite team's personnel and how to best use them will go a long way to improving your game. Stick skills come in time. I'm not the best of the sticks, but I know what I'm doing. I think the strength of my game is patience and how much I know. I can run many different looks and styles and change when needed. The chess match inside Madden and the tricks you can have up your sleeve are so much fun.Comment
