My problem is that the game sells in Canada, this year has a specific Canadian cover, there is a MLB team in Canada, Canadian players in the MLB, and yet Canadians like myself can't win prizes. I understand perhaps the lottery-like aspect when it was a pay to play, but now that Challenge of the Week is free, the continued ineligibility is extremely disappointing. -
Re: MLB 12 The Show Fact Sheet
With the addition of over 500 all new presentation animations, does anybody know what that brings the total amount of presentation animations to?
Hell I don't think their is much more then 500 now.
The little things thread should be of the charts this year.Comment

It is Canadian laws that prevent it and make it a complex issue.
Not the developers fault.Ⓥ Boston Red Sox | Miami DolphinsComment

All these times you get banned, you still repeat the same point that has been thoroughly discussed before? The devs will implement them when the time is ripe....Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show Fact Sheet
Challenge of the week in it's first year gave people an opportunity to win over 25k in cash and prizes. The winner of a free all expenses paid trip to the World Series spent a total of 50 dollars. The winner of the All-Star game trip spent 70 dollars. Each winner received tremendous value for their dollar.
But I'm glad it's free this year, it's a fun mode that I wanted to play more of but just couldn't justify spending more $$$ for it. You guys don't need prizes or gimmicks to sell your product. Leave that to the "other game".
And I'm still wondering if Diamond Dynasty is playable with friends?Steam: BahnzoComment

That's great, but it was paid for by all the other people who didn't win. I don't mean to make it seem like you guys are greedy, but CotW did seem like an arcade game that I paid for, only to find out that it cost me a quarter to play it each time.

Re: MLB 12 The Show Fact Sheet
I think Bahnzo wants to know if you can only play DD games with your PSN/SC friends, not just some random online gamers.
The reason why this matters I guess is that many online players are out there to win doing whatever they can... often exploiting "glitches" (taking an extra base on a sac bunt, constant early steals, deliberate HBPs to make you quit) that prevent people from playing "sim-style" baseball.
The best online experience comes when you play against people whom you can trust (in your friend list or leagues under set rules), and unfortunately the chances are small that you see them if your only option is "Play Now" or some random encounter in the lobbies. Random online people don't have to be nice to others, since nothing is at stake.Comment

Re: MLB 12 The Show Fact Sheet
Why not come out and say that "No, you cannot play against people in your friend's list"? I'm looking to find a picture of someone "beating around the bush".

If this does not sound like the answer you want, I am sorry...and that's the truth.
Maybe, PM Ramone....?Last edited by Woodweaver; 02-10-2012, 08:35 PM."Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man"Comment
