Similar to steve nash, who is usually near the top of the league in turnovers.. and is about 2:1 assist to turnover... that's where he'll sit, because he has to have the ball so much in this system...

78 ball security is in no way too high for a PG who has the ball all the damn time...

especially in this game, where defensive PG's can get away with swiping at the ball without getting reach-in fouls called on them, until they eventually rip you clean and take it the other way for an easy 2...

you want his ball security to be sub 70? i don't get it... he'd be unusable... he couldn't play like himself because he'd just be losing the ball constantly... sorta like he did when he was rated a 56 overall...

right now, he should play a lot like he does in real life... only thing i see being a bit off is the mid range being 80... 76-78 seemed a little more reasonable... 80 is approaching automatic with a good look... stat is 80 right now, and i still drain every good look i get from mid-range with him, on HoF/Sim online.

Nash this season has 288 assist and 97 turnovers. How does that come out to 2:1?

only thing i see being a bit off is the mid range being 80... 76-78 seemed a little more reasonable... 80 is approaching automatic with a good look... stat is 80 right now, and i still drain every good look i get from mid-range with him, on HoF/Sim online.

Lin is shooting 60% from midrange. If anything 80 is too low. But then all the guys online will be going kobe with him if you made it higher

yea... is he shooting 60% from mid-range? still... only 7 games... he hasn't even TAKEN many mid-range shots... most of his damage ,scoring wise, happens at the rim or at the line...

you were right about nash, but i still stand by the fact that you couldn't make his ball security much lower than what it is now and expect him to be able to handle the ball as much as he does in real life, in the game... no point guard should have sub 70 ball security... especially in d'antoni's system...

Yeah your point about getting ripped easily in this game makes sense. I just seen some other PG ratings that are lower then that, that I feel are better than Jeremy LIn. But again, he hasn't shown enough games to know either way.

dont know why they updated the rosters just for jeremy lin, since he's only played 1 game since the last update...

Lin has a 92 quickness to raise his overall ??? LOL 2k why let media popularity instead of what you see on court dictate player ratings? Lin is no where as quick as someone like dwade, or jamal crawford

J.R. Smith should at least be on Free Agent list since it's past the Feb 15 deadline. Also the team has not announced his signing, also hasn't released contract details. No excuse for him not to be on FA list though.

P.S. I'm assuming he is not on Free Agent list since people are commenting alot about him not being on the Knicks or on roster.

I know no one besides me and other blazers fans care but its ridiculous that lamarcus aldridge hasn't had a raise in his ratings. Top 5 in scoring before he got hurt.

All of these ratings are too high. You don't get a 80 pass/78 ball security when you've had the most turnovers out of any player's first 5 starting games. Not really sure where the 78 steal came from, and offensive awareness 92 puts him in steve nash/deron williams/chris paul territory.

Offensive awareness is a bit too high, but he played like a 92 in the Raptor's game. 80-85 would be a good conservative rating.

His ball security looks pretty good until he gets gassed and starts making poor decisions. If anything, I feel that his stamina is rated too high. Unfortunately, I don't think 2K ties the likelihood of losing the ball to fatigue. I agree that his off-hand rating is too high since his weakness is the innability to go left.

Jeremy is actually capable of playing good defense. It's really odd as a Warriors fan to hear people knock his D because that's all he did last year and he was easily the best defensive player on our team (outside of maybe Udoh). 78 doesn't seem too high when he had a ridiculous per 48 steal number last year with a decent sample size-- I would keep it at 78 until we really see the steals drop off over many games.

Not gonna be around the system for a bit, any word on if D. Cousins got a slight boost? Currently rated a 71 and he is third in the nba in double-doubles. Been killing it for a couple of weeks now. Tryin to figure out how Linn got two updates in a week or so and most players havent been touched. Im not just being a homer either as the numbers clearly state that J. Salmons needs a big decrease cause he is playin terrible. Hickson should be decreased while Thompson should receive a slight increase.

I had aldridge in a league. He is more than capable of scoring with his current rating. Only thing I would say is his close range rating needs to be 80 - 84 (think it's like 76). When Varejao has a higher close rating than he does, that is pretty laughable.

Just glad they fixed his jumper.
