    2012 OSFM: Atlanta Braves

Shocked that there wasn't one created yet, but here we are! Easy hub for every Brave's franchise manager to find, share, and debate information such as CAPS, equipment and edits, roster concerns, and anything else Bravo-related! Braves fans had something like this last year on the thread, and it was a great help. Once I get my act together and officially close out my days on '11, and get a good look at '12, I'll post my carry over stances/motions. As for equipment, I sort of use a work in progress mode once I see what they guys are wearing in Spring.

Another big step will be a CAP for Tyler Pastornicky. I'm not too talented at CAPS myself, and haven't seen one from '11, so hopefully someone can work their magic the first week of March.

Other way around. Terdo is going into camp and will begin the season as a 3B. He played 1B last year and in the Fall League, I beleive.

            Re: 2012 OSFM: Atlanta Braves

I signed up with Knight and Co. to help out with stances and equipment.

Once spring training is underway, I'll be spending more free time than I'd like to admit with MLB.TV, taking notes and getting things as close as possible for the roster.

Looking forward to comparing stances and pitching motions with you guys. I know many of us have different ideas on what works best for certain players, but I'm sure we can come close to a consensus decision here.

actually, pastornicky was called up for the LAST game of the season. Even though he didnt play at all, because he was called up, he was added to the MLBPA...and i believe was added to the official roster on OCT 3rd. So...hopefully he's an official player.

First, Ksig and MLBonFOX have some good things to say about Braves prospects in the thread below:

                    http://www.operationsports.com/forum...-thread-5.html

My 2 favorite Braves Blogs that have some great writing and scouting are CapitalAvenueClub.com and TalkingChop.com.

Below are some links that I think will help whoever is putting the roster together to get a great idea of things.

Talking Chop also has a great write up on each player in their top 25. The articles can be found starting on the bottom of the page below, moving into the next page.
Your best source for quality Atlanta Braves news, rumors, analysis, stats and scores from the fan perspective.

CapitalAvenueClub.com’s top 25 are slightly different. It is located below:
                    http://capitolavenueclub.com/?p=5333

I would think any player listed on either of their top 25’s deserve to be created for the game.

A few thoughts I have on potential are that Joey Terdoslavich and Adam Milligan being B prospects. That might be harder for some people to agree with when it comes to Adam Milligan, but I think he can be a better average hitting Adam Dunn if he stays healthy.

Sorry if a long post with a lot of links isn't helpful, but i thought it was good info.

Adam, with the game dropping tonight, are you picking it up tomorrow and getting started? You said you have been busy, do you have the time to put the work in? Have the roster planned out and ready to go? Has anyone gave you any input or has anyone contacted Adam about working with him? Figured this thread would pick up at some point but I guess not. Whats up my fellow Braves fans?

Yes he has been. His bat seems legit. Just have to hope can play a decent 3B or LF this season.
