I have been off of alot of my old ps3 sports site so I have really only seen a few videos for the new game. It look like it is going to be good. Now my question is Will this game automatically update when there is roster change or do I need to do it manuel. I only play on ps2 so this will be my first ps3 baseball game since I got the system. When does it come out so I know I will have the money for it. THanks. Go Braves.

It will update if you have an Internet connection. And the guys here at OS do a roster with real minor leaguers.

It will come out 2 months before MLB 13 is released... Its worth the wait!

they start doing it in spring training...they have no way to do the rosters before the game comes out.

Well that's not too bad I'm sure I can wait that long. I don't want to start a franchise without all the top prospects. As the D-Backs I need Bauer, Skaggs, Bradley. I was just going to create them and update their sliders later but I might wait for this set.

Perhaps the most overrated player in baseball.

Maybe not anymore though since people see he's just a singles hitter. He'd be great at softball though.

Have you ever seen Ichiro take BP? I haven't but from reports he can absolutely launch in BP and it's been reported by actually baseball people that he could easily hit 20-25 bombs a year if he wanted to give up some points on his average but chooses to focus more on his average. Also since when it's getting hits of any kind overrated? Remind me again how many homeruns Wade Boggs hit?

Oh and he has 280 career doubles and 74 career triples and 95 career homeruns.

Oh and one more thing he had years in Japan where he had 25 and 21 homeruns.

Ichiro once *joked* that he could hit 40 HRs if we're okay to see him hit .220. I think Ichiro could have a higher OBP if he goes for less infield hits, but he has his unique style, so...

Lets put those stats into proper context because they mean nothing as you listed them. Those numbers are over the span of ELEVEN seasons. 95 home runs doesn't sound to great over 11 years does it? he plays in a gap hitters dream at Safeco, unlike most hitters the park suits him perfectly.

If you want to look at his value offensively you will notice that Juan Pierre was more valuable last season.

He is a slap hitter, he makes close to 20 million per year, he doesn't steal enough...

The only reason I would like him on my team, at a cheaper price, is his fielding ability. With the bat give me a guy like Nick Swisher since he has more value.
