I just sold my 360 for 200.. and bought a ps3 just for the show and the free online... in your honest opinions... is the show gonna be that much better than 2k? thoughts? and maybe tell me why you say its much better

Well I just want to make sure I made the right decisions. I always second guess stuff like this. For some reason I feel like 2k will be better than the show for the first time ever this year just because I switched

Depends, if you are more of a casual player. But I personally don't think it's worth switching now in 2012. I think that 2k12 will have positive reviews but still not as high as the Show. 2k12 will be available on ps3 if you find hitting on the Show too frustrating but they lowered the pitch speed which should help.

I'll just say this, rather than play the fully patched version of 2k11, I'm playing the Show's demo from 2011 to get my baseball fix over the next two weeks.

I got rid of my PS3 b/c I barely played it. I'm hoping 2K12 is good enough. You guys are making me think that won't be the case lol.

PYS 2012 will be pretty darn good (better game play than the show for 2011) and is ps3 exclusive.

I paid 600.00 for a PS3 to play the Show. And am picking up a VITA tomorrow for the same thing.

I play them both every year and will play pretty much all baseball games so I at least give them a try. 2K while a decent game just doesn't stack up to The Show. Not close IMO.
PYS is a great game also if you can get past the language barrier. I never could so I stopped getting it.

I couldn't help but check out an MLB 2K12 preview video and my first thought was "Is this serious?"

I'm not trying to be funny...but is 2K trying to market an arcade game to pull in the very casual players? It might be really fun online and the game has this certain arcade look to it. (Especially the pitching indicator that is bright and vibrant). Then the ball had a tail to it...

I did not think the two were that far apart. Wow
