Why do people want the new game built off Live 10 engine? It was a good game but that engine is old with way too many problems. We don't need another b-ball game with suction and 2 man animations, scripted gameplay is dead.

dont want hookshots from 3pt line elite controls also

I am purchasing live 13 this year. They have had time to fine tune a game and i think it will be a very nice experience

player models need to be seen ASAP. this was a problem in live 10

I think the name change or rather reversion to Live was a no brainer. It's what people were familiar with and I don't think it made sense to change it in the first place. I liked NBA Live 10 and have been playing it recently but the major thing I think that game lacked was defensive controls. They had plenty for you to do offensively with the ball but defensively all you can really do is stand there and hope to get in a guys way.

for me its going to be as simple as this, nba 2k13 on pc (for mods and etc), nba live 13 xbox 360 (unless we get lucky and nba live franchise wants to bring back pc fans, i will go for both games on pc if available) never really been a nba live fan, but if they bring it, will have no problem making switch, but i doubt if 2k13 will be a bad game, think it will be well improved, just excited about competition and the ability to choose, NOW COME ON NFL AND DO AWAY WITH THE NFL EXCLUSIVE LICENSE! THEN WE REALLY TALKING!

How is dynasty mode in NBA Live 10 ? Hope they work on.

Going back to the NBA Live title although it has no effect on how the game will play is nice to see and great marketing by EA since Live is the household name. EA though is under a good amount of pressure here though, since they had about 2+ years to develop this title opposed to the normal 1 year cycle. This game should be well polished and should have a decent amount of features in it. I am anxious to see what they came up with this year.

Great great decision here and I disagree @Marvellousone 2K removed all the pressure by putting out an extremely buggy and game with horrible online performance. People are ready to welcome EA back into the fold. Look at all the comments everyone is hopeful. That is great for EA. Let It Begin... LOL I'm ready can't wait to see what direction they went in.
