If only they could update the catchers gear. It takes away from an otherwise pretty game. All the catcher's look fat and out of shape.

Totally agree. They need another catchers mask and updated gear with choices like the cleats and gloves.

It does make the catchers look really fat.. It should be against their chest not two inches away from it. I don't know why it makes them look so fat though..

Which is the option that was the default for past years with the brim? Semi-flat or normal?

I think semi flat. But the one option where the cap is reall bent, that one looks awful. I've never seen a MLB player where their hat like that, I know for sure I wouldn't use it on a created player, it looks out of place.

They are trying to get the old time player feel for some of the brim curves.
It looks overdone because the brim looks a bit too big.

I really wish that edit player showed the the player in the home uniforms like other games so you could get a better feel when picking out equipment colors.

I agree. New designs, like Buster Posey's Under Armour gear or Jonathan Lucroy's All Star gear.
