I love some of what I'm seeing here; the hit variety is much better than 2K11 and an improvement over the 2K12 demo.

In the Yankees at Mariners Part I video, at 2:30, there is a great little chopper. Third baseman charges, throws and gets the out at ssecond - but the ball was hit too softly to turn the double play.

The sequence unfolded naturally and looked great.

Tigers and Yanks are way too blue. I know that technically they are "Navy Blue", but since they obviously can't duplicate that color, I think 2K would be much closer simply making it black.

I like 2K games, and I do root for them to succeed. But in 2012, how can you not get accurate colors for the cover athelete's team, and the flagship franchise of the sport?

Tigers and Yanks are way too blue. I know that technically they are "Navy Blue", but since they obviously can't duplicate that color, I think 2K would be much closer simply making it black.

What's odd is the Yanks' caps were close to the correct color in 2K11, even though their sleeves were medium blue and all wrong. So it is possible for them to get it right, they just don't care about the details apparently.

Not sure what is up with the off colors. It's controlled by the roster so a simple roster update could correct them. I know for the PC version, I used a roster editor to darken the colors for the yanks but I'm not sure if it's able to edit 360 rosters. It's possible, if we generate enough buzz on their social sites, that we can get a roster update with better team colors.

Not sure what is up with the off colors. It's controlled by the roster so a simple roster update could correct them. I know for the PC version, I used a roster editor to darken the colors for the yanks but I'm not sure if it's able to edit 360 rosters. It's possible, if we generate enough buzz on their social sites, that we can get a roster update with better team colors.

Maybe if we go to mvpmods and do some lobbying we can get the editor made for xbox as well!

I was going to come in here to say the same things. How is this 2012 and you get the Yankees colors wrong? The Yankees and baseball are synonymous. Might as well have the baseball itself be the wrong color and yellow or something.

I hope they fix the baserunning animations on steals. Last year it actually looked fine and was one of the better animations in the game.

This year, for some reason, they start with the correct animation (head down, full sprint), but then switch right into the upright jog. I hope they can patch it.

This also applies to running to first.

Agreed. And even though I am a Red Sox fan, this bugs me. It throws off my Hatin' when they don't even look like Yanks.

The slow motion doesn't do the sequence any justice either. Not sure why they changed this so much in 2k12

I already decided i'd be picking this up but I sure hope the Green Monster aint purple too, and this is coming from a Yankees fan like me

I wonder if an hex editor could fix this... They did in NBA 2k12 with the red and blues. I think 2k has a problem with those two colors for some reason.
