    Should I use sliders?

    Hi all,

Im not completely new to Madden nfl , played some of the older games years back, recently got a PS3 and a copy of NFL12 to relive my youth

Im playing with ultimate team at the moment , im enjoying it , but finding that the CPU is pulling off some pretty outrageous moves on me now and again , ive yet to win a game despite being ahead until the last 35 seconds..

Im currently playing on PRO difficulty as I understand the game mechanics , but my techinical knowledge of the game is pretty low (im learning a lot - als we dont get to see much NFL over her in the UK.

My question is , should I be using sliders to even things out a little bit? , I always prefer to play more of a simulation than an arcade game , are there any sliders that you would recommend for Pro level for the newer player?

    Thanks

I would go with default All-Pro and see how you do. If that level give you good games, you might then look around for some All-Pro custom sliders. As you learn more about both Madden and football in general, you'll probably either look for "harder" All-Pro custom or find a balance in All-Madden that's not super "gamey" but also not overly frustrating.

A lot of All-Madden sliders, it would help to have a decent understanding of the ins-and-outs of the game as the creators of those sliders often bring that to the table and most sliders are ultimately oriented, at least at first, around what gives the creator good results. On the plus side, every slider creator I've seen is beyond willing to help you adjust the sliders to your own personal skill level either with direct tweaks or suggestions for what you can consider changing.
