Now, my defense is pretty much intact from the previous season. I cut one of my linebackers and replaced him with a much higher rated free agent, Sam Acho. I also signed an additional defensive tackle, Shaun Rogers, to bring in to help stop the run. So, my defensive unit is pretty much the same as it's been the last couple of seasons. Sam Acho wound up getting injured and so did my starting DT. The only real loss in terms of injury is Sam Acho, I have enough depth at DT to replace my injured guy. So far this season, my defense has allowed 6 players to rush for well over 100 yds and is giving up close to 300 passing yards per game. My defense looks like they replaced it with a bunch of college players or something.
I'm wondering if this poor performance has anything to do with the loss of my defensive coordinator. There is really no other way to explain why my defense would be playing so poorly this season. Do you think the guys at EA actually snuck in some kind of chemistry between the coordinators and the team's performance?
