    Saint Iscah Realistic Sliders

I have been working on these sliders for some time now. I have tried a few sliders on here & I found a few that have a few things right, & then there was one persons set that was really accurate but needed a few adjustments in order to increase speed, turnovers, penalties, shooting & a few other areas including overall CPU difficulty.

    Key points from my sliders:

~ Varying W-L record, not dominating either way (alot of sliders I've tried where you literally win every game)
~ 10 min periods, not too long, but long enough to get immersed in game
    ~ Multiple score results - 2-1, 1-0, 5-3, 3-1, 6-2 (both in winning fashion & losing)
    ~ Penalties - some games low w/ 0-8 min's, some games w/ 16-24 in penalty min's resulting in lots of PP's
    ~ Average TOI – very accurate, 4th liners seeing 5-8 min's
~ Shots – vary from low 20's to high 30's
~ Hit totals are low, but game is very physical (forecheck/backcheck) – few “big hits” (from the 0/0 hitting power)
~ Goals from wristers, slap shots, goalie screens, deflections, one timers, scrambles @ net, turnovers off forecheck
    ~ Passing % - varies 60%-70%
~ Attack time is near equal, not lopsided as some sliders produce

Anyway I hope people find these sliders to be fun & accurate. I know most people on here are deeply involved w/ the sliders they have created or gotten used to but if not give these a shot.

    Any feedback is appreciated.

I love these sliders, played 4 games with them. I won 8-1, 3-2 (so) 7-6 and 2-1. Only problem though is that the hits are around 8-20 for me and the cpu has only hit me 3 times total in all 4 games. Otherwise, these are the best I've used all season!

One small tweak to be made.

*Changed both shot speed & slap shot speed from 3 to 4*
        -
This change does not effect the gameplay at all. It just brings shot speeds to a more accurate level. Before when the speeds were @ 3 the shot speeds were slightly low.

Upon testing I used a few players to gauge the speeds. Most notably Chara as everyone knows of his record 108mph slap shot from this years all star challange. Under the new shot speeds he occasionally (not frequently) comes more close to that high of 108. But this is obviously the exception & not the rule. Just the easiest measuring stick to finding that accurate shot speed setting.

        Thanks & enjoy.

          Thanks for the feedback.

Just to clarify are you talking about the actual hit totals from the stat menu or what you feel you see during the game? Keep in mind this game doesnt track a "hit" unless its a big hit. So any physical play on the boards via forecheck/backcheck or a slight knock off puck doesnt register a hit.

BTW the NHL game average for hits is 36-44 depending on the season.
          (Reference: http://www.tsn.ca/blogs/darren_dreger/?id=352137)

(Obviously these #'s need to be split in half as the sliders are for 10 min periods) - so for our purposes hits should average 13-22 per game

I see a few, but the stats menu says 0 or maybe 2. Last night I played as Anaheim against Cbus and the Jackets had 5 hits listed.

I play a style similar to the '07 Ducks and NJ Devils in their prime. Very physical, grinding forecheck/trap style. It says 13-18 hits for me during games, so that averages out Otherwise, again, I am having a blast with these!

I'm testing the sliders w/ raised aggression & a few other small changes.

This may address the low CPU hit totals & a few other things.

              Pending....

Your sliders are next on my list to try out. I like how you have some key sliders so hopefully this will be the set for me. Have you made any changes recently?

I like these sliders except the opponents CPU goalie is too good.

I agree. Also, I feel like my goalies suck. Four games with Lundqvist and he has a sub-900 SAV and a GAA of 2.56. They really need to have more sliders for goalies in this game--the ones they currently have don't cut it.
