    No Mayo in Memphis

The first move has been made to kick off the trade season. With the deadline just days away and the Memphis Grizzlies excelling without OJ Mayo coming off the bench and with their success in the playoffs Last season sans OJ they've decided it was time to part ways. They hooked up with the Los Angeles Clippers who were looking for a scoring guard to replace the injured Chauncey Billups that could also play Small Forward. They got that in the former USC Trojan. Going along with Mayo across the country is 2011 draft pick Josh Selby in return the team receives Randy Foye, Reggie Evans and a 2012 1st round draft pick. "I'm looking forward to helping the once woeful but now title contending Clippers reach their goals," Mayo said excitedly as he left for the Memphis airport.

Wizards Cut Ties With Problem Child Blatche

We all know that Washington and Andray Blatche have had their share of issues this season, so much so he finds himself heading to Boston with Jermaine O'Neal and second round picks in the next two drafts coming back to the Wiz. Boston's hopes are that with the elder statesmen of Ray Allen, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett, they'll be able to get Blatche to mature and grow up quickly. Doc Rivers when reached for comment said, "Andray is going to be a good addition for this team. He's a young and talented big man. *Maybe him and [Rajon] Rondo will become tight giving us a solid one-two punch for after our old guys retire."

Minnesota Not Afraid to Make Moves

The Minnesota front office has decided to add an excellent scoring guard to their squad, pairing him up with a pass first point guard, some young guns and a top tier center. With Monta Ellis heading to Minnesota, it looks like they're ready to get back into the playoffs. "With Monta," started Kevin Love, "we've got a player not afraid to shoot and someone who can take the scoring load off me. It's nice to know if I'm doubled down low he'll be ready to catch and make a move."

          Beefing Up for Brooklyn

Next season the New Jersey Nets will be heading to Brooklyn, breaking in a new stadium. While they tried and tried but failed to acquire the services of one Dwight Howard, partial owner Sean Carter feels this move will be a step in the right direction towards keeping leading man Deron Williams when his contract expires at season's end. Upon hearing about the trade, a wide smile was seen on the face of the aforementioned Williams making it seem that he does like the move. Danny Granger is a rising star and undoubtedly should be an excellent sidekick working off of Williams. Coming with Granger is big man Roy Hibbert, who while no Dwight Howard has improved by leaps and bounds over the past year.

                              Holy crap! I'm starting!

Also, Great trade, for the Bulls. Really happy we could pick up Dwight, and Hedo isn't too bad, either. Losing Mirotic and the 1st rounder hurts, though.

When I sent you the idea, I meant the rights to Charlottes protected pick, not this years. It's 'aight, though. No shooting guard this draft, I guess.

I'm still working out the kinks in terms of dealing with picks, protected picks and unprotected picks. I've got an Association Guide I'll have to reread in hopes of figuring it out better but I'll do my best to accommodate to working out the 'Charlotte protected pick'
