    Taking a dive

Last night, I was playing my Raiders dynasty in a game against the Patriots. After struggling to finish drives most of the game I was able to finally pull ahead 17-13. I made a crucial stop and got the ball back with 1:40 left and the Pats out of timeouts.
So I figured three kneel downs and get out of there, right?
Nope, after taking a knee on third down, the clock stops. For some reason the announcer magically popped up and said "Injury timeout, New England."
Really? On a kneeldown play? Belicheck must have thrown in a new trick. Needless to say, I punted and stopped the last couple hail mary's for the win, but I was curious if this has happened to anyone else?

I've seen a couple really unexplained clock stopages. running back gets tackled midfield with a minute and 12 left on the clock, and it just stops for no reason I can fathom. I always assumed it was some obscure NFL rule I was unfamiliar with.

how'd you get the announcer to show up anyway? I've seen him show up like twice ever. usually mid-game for no apparent reason.
