    New Ball Physics Feedback

So with the game ow being out for a while, what is everybodys thoughts on the new ball physics?

I for one think it is a game changer. I see new types of hits almost every game. Im starting to see more flaired hits that are fought off when I was deep in the count and just had to reach for one that was close on the outside corner and dropping it in between the outfielder and infielder. I am seeing those liners that just die in mid air before they reach the outfielder. I am seeing balls get driven down into the ground and pick up speed to get through the infield. It really is a game changer.

    Thoughts everybody?

While I think the new ball physics are a step in the right direction, the ball still has too much bounce. I fouled a ball behind the catcher and the ball bounced at least 2 times up to the height of the batter. This would never happen.

I am enjoying the new ball physics. Seeing lots of new hit types that I never saw before.

Only caveat is the hard hit ground balls seem to die too quickly in the grass, keeping would-be doubles as singles.

Love the new physics, I do 100% agree with the too high bounces off the ground. Just tone that down like 15-20% and I can't think of anything wrong.

I am seeing a lot of these as well, but the balls in play seem great. The only other knock I have is that ground balls down the line always die immediately when hitting the grass.

Here is a great demo of the new physics, I'd hate to be the person they tested this on in real life:

Definitely better than last year, but I'm not seeing as many bloopers as others. May have something to do with contact swing which I only use 0-2, 1-2. All my line drives just keep on going.

It's definitely an improvement and the play variety has increased because of it. It's fun to watch games though I did already enjoy watching games in 11...

I think it can still be tuned to produce even greater hit variety.

              Other issues are:

-- I'd like to see more variety in poor quality hits.
-- The ball is still a bit too bouncy (more ground rule doubles and that high bouncing fouls that we come to love/hate) ... it's fine if it were on turf but it's grass/soil...
-- a grounder probably dies down a tiny bit too much on grass...

Has anyone seen knuckler hit to outfield or something? I haven't seen one.

i'm not seeing much difference with Timing. A little better, but a ton of line drives and they are most always caught. I almost hope not to hit too good cause when its almost always caught. Might try Zone again, i dunno.\\

I'm seeing the same thing as others with the high bounces on fouls, at least 5+ a game.

I use timing as well, but i'm not having any problem seeing all the hits.

Are you using contact swing? Because i've found that liners I hit with contact swing don't tend to fall they kinda hang up and are caught. Also I would suggest bumping fielder speed, and arm down 1 click.
