    Triple plays

Men on first and second, Bret Gardner up to bat, decide to double steal and sac bunt. Gardner pops up behind home plate (low pop up not much hang time) and Napoli proceeds to throw to second, then Kinsler on to first to complete the triple play. It's the first ever triple play in my The Show history. Was wondering who else has turned one or been on the receiving end of one.

In RTTS the other day playing my team turned a 5-4-3. Grounder to 3rd, tagged runner threw to me as the pivot man at second and I gunned the guy out at first. This happened in AA too which was what surprised me the most.

Last year, my brother went on a 3-2 count with runners on first and second. He hit it to my shortstop, who stepped on second and then threw it to first. Then again, my brother isn't that smart...

I have yet to see one this year but the last one I saw was back in the game that had the trophy.. I think it was in MLB 10.
Why did I move here? I guess it was the weather.

Got one days ago. Runners were on second and third in the bottom of the 13th inning. Runners were sent on the suicide squeeze, the bunt was a bit high, caught, thrown to third and then second for the triple play.

I would lose in the 15th on a couple of errors.

I hit in to a triple player last year with Ryan Braun. Runner on 1st and 2nd and I crushed a one-hopper to Scott Rolen, he tagged 3rd, threw it to 2nd and onto first. First one ever in the show for me.

In just my second game EVER--back in the Show '09, turned a 5-4-3 triple play on a grounder to third (runners on 1st & 2nd.) Well, my team did, anyway; I was in MoM

              Haven't seen one since.

I got one last year playing with the Jays in the 9th. Tying run on second and go ahead run on first. I get a groundball hit perfectly next to third base, touch the bag, throw to second, throw to first, game over.

I've seen it 2 times. Once in MLB 09 i was playing as the Indians. A man on 1st and 2nd. They hit a line drive to right field, runners went. Choo catches it off his laces i throw to 2nd and he's tagged out then i throw it to first and got the other runner. It was epic.

Had it against me a couple weeks ago in MLB 11. Had a man on 1st and 2nd. I hit a hard ground ball to the 3B, he tags the man from 2nd then throws to 2nd for the tag then a throw to 1st to get the hitter. It was annoying but fair.

Why would you double steal and sac bunt? Why not just sac bunt?

I turned just one triple play in my "The Show" history. In 2010.

It was during the ASG and the 3B of my league (National as I played with the D'Backs) fielded the groundball hit by A-Rod, tagged the runner threw to 2nd to my SS Drew who threw to first.

Just missed one last night. Polanco tagged a runner between 2nd and third, then threw to utley, and the batter beat it out at 1st barely. Still was an inning killer for them.
