doubt that. Early projections are that he'll be able to pitch in the majors in late May, early June if everything goes right.

It's actually an interesting question. How does this work with the MLBPA rules? we don't have most of the minor leaguers because they have not played in the marjos... Since Pettitte is coming out of retirement do we need to wait for him to play his first MLB game? Or was he still part of the PA after retirement? Anyone know how that works?

And my guess is we'd have to settle for the generic picture rather than his actual, but since he's only been removed for a year they may still have the coding lying around and will just do a copy/paste/edit type deal.

He can go right into the game I would think since he should be part of the MLBPA already. Just because he's in the minors or has a minor league deal doesn't mean they can't include him or that he's no longer part of the union.

His ability to be put into a roster update all depends on wether he was still a part of the player's union or not in his hiatus from baseball.

Manny Ramirez retired and unretired and was added to the game without having to play in an MLB game first, so hypothetically, Andy Pettitte should be added as soon as possible.

I would seriously be really pissed if they waited until he played a game and then gave him a generic face like they did with Bartolo Colon last year. How messed up was that that the Classic Player face glitch allowed you to get Bartolo Colon's real face but the one SCEA used in their roster update was a generic face!!! lol So that has me a LITTLE worried that when we do get Andy that they will use some create-a-player face instead of his actual face!

SCEA, PLEASE GIVE US ANDY PETTITTE WITH HIS REAL FACE!
