TRADE ALERT!!!

The Rays and Redsox have struck a deal!

RAYS RECEIVE:

Catcher- Ryan Lavarnway (75) rookie, 4* potential
Middle Reliever- Bobby Jenks (71) downward trend arrow, 3* potential

REDSOX RECEIVE:

Shortstop- Sean Rodriguez (74) 4* potential
Catcher- Chris Gimenez (62) 2* potential

The Rays then sent Jenks to the twins for Kyle Waldrop

RAYS RECEIVE

Middle Reliever- Kyle Waldrop (68) 4* potential

TWINS RECEIVE

Middle Reliever- Bobby Jenks (71) 3* potential

The Rays will keep Lavarnway in the majors and he will start at catcher, they send Waldrop to (AAA), call up shortstop Tim Beckham from (AAA), and send down rookie catcher Stephen Vogt to (AAA), to get more experience instead of sitting behind Lavarnway. Beck ham will start at Shortstop for the time being but may get sent back down too (AAA) if we trade for a veteran shortstop.
