Re: Rays franchise

RAYS COME FROM BEHIND LATE TO BEAT TIGERS AND TAKE GAME TWO!! Final Score 2-1

This game was a Pitchers Duel from the start, the Rays starter, Alex Cobb gave up 1 run on two hits in 6 solid innings of work, but got the no decision. Tigers starter Andy Oliver pitched a solid 8 and 2/3, giving up 7 hits, most of which came later in the game, gave up two runs and walked 3 while getting the loss. Aroldis Chapman pitched 2 and a third in relief of Alex Cobb and struck out 2, getting the win, and Kyle Farnsworth came in with 1 out in the ninth and struck out both batters he faced to get his third save of the season. Detroit lead until the eighth inning when Welington Castillo got a pinch hit RBI triple to right center, then in the ninth Evan Longoria hit an RBI double to cash in the games winning run. Detroit could have won this one but left Oliver just a little bit too long.
