    How to set secondary position

Ok, I was wondering, is there any wa that I can choose my secondary position in my player? Because I have created about a dozen small forwards, with builds all across the board, and they all show up as sf/sg? Why? I want to be a sf/pf, how do I do this?

Maybe make a PF and have the secondary position be SF. That's all I can think of...

I was having the same problem man. I decided to make me as a My Player. In real life I am a 6'1" Guard. I put my player as a SG and figured since My player is small for the NBA id just be a SG or SG/PG. Instead on the Pacers they put me at SG/SF so im stuck guarding big SFs and PFs at times in the game.

No, you can't. It's based on your play style. For instance, if I make a 6'9 shooting guard, and set his playing style to slashing, he will be a secondary PG. But if I do scoring, he will be a secondary SF. Or if I made a 6'8 PF and made him a rebounding player, he will be a secondary C. I think you get the point. Anyway, I know this because I've tested it, and it's pretty stupid.

Ok, my problem is that I can't ever seem to get a sf/pf, no matter the playstyle? Why is that? So strange.

I think it honestly also has to do with your coach. My sf on the blazers has played 2-4
