I am generalizing a bit here, but EA games usually do a great job with game introductions and things that happen when you boot up a game.....the types of things that potential buyers see when they are demo-ing the game at a store or a friends house. But the games tend to be a bit light later on...things like the championship celebrations. I love putting 50+ hours into a game and then seeing something new...a new animation or commentary...but that doesn't happen to often with EA games, in my experience at least.
sounds like u need to grab fifa12. i dont even like soccer much but this game is the shhh....u wouldnt really believe it even came out of an EA studio. fresh commentary that reminds me of nba2k...like how they always acknowledge things going on with ur team inside the game ur in and outside of that...new pickups, benchings, injuries and how they might effect u, etc. and im always seeing something new thanks to physics(not perfect but does a dang decent job). if u play that, you will not even wanna play ea football anymore outta disgust.
    Lets Go:
    Seahawks
    Bengals
    ----------------------
    Madden Since '92

I am very excited to read that because EA claims that the FIFA commentary system is in Madden 13 and I presume NCAA 13 too. We may be in for a treat with regards to commentary this year is that FIFA system produces the NBA2k quality commentary for EA football games.

Don't get too excited. Madden has adopted FIFA's locomotion system two years ago and you wouldn't even recognize that at all. Madden and NCAA seem to take things and make them worse.

For some reason whenever I read the "Read and React DB" thing, I just think of the FUBAR passing system of NCAA 2005.

Let's hope so. FIFA is leaps and bounds above NCAA Commentary. Heck, when you play FIFA, they even acknowledge when it's your players birthday. That's pretty impressive when compared to the NCAA commentary.

It would be nice, for NCAA to recognize some of the smaller aspects of the game. "He needs X amount of yards to get 100 on the day". "He leads the nation in receiving yards." "That's a new career high in rushing yards..." etc.

Also, would be nice to see some stats during the game.

For some reason it seems like the transitional cycle from wanted Madden injections to NCAA is between 2-3 yrs.

Could be 3rd yr Broadcast Cam is left out, could be.

Could be Madden's DPP doesn't make it, making it a 2nd yr.

Then there's a 6th yr of one throwing style for QB's.

So if Fifa stuff is making it's way to Madden, history says it will be a couple of yrs for the "Possibility" of NCAA getting it.

Maybe they do pull some Shock-n-Awe stuff, just maybe!!!

I play franchise all the time. They acknowledge what's happened previously in the season. Things like; how your team won the previous game or mentioning if a certain player scored in that game as they have possession of the ball.

I hope in the generic(West Coast,Spread,Balanced, etc.) playbooks you can choose from, they'll add in the Fly offense.

Which game are you referring to, NBA2k, Madden or FIFA?

With any previews, I always think back to '08. Probably my least favorite edition. Lost of frustration. But to this day, the trailer still looks pretty good:

EA Sports has an Awareness rating of 0...

Sad, because they were the ones who came up with it
